1996 reissue of the classic 1958 kit. The missile can be disassembled put into individual crates on the trailer; trailer unhitches from cab and all 18 wheels rotate. The trailer has a detailed underside and the truck features an opening hood with detailed engine and cab interior. A crew of 2 is included. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The scale is listed as 1/48 in all of my source material, but Revell listed it as 1/54 in 2011 reissue.

Very well detailed, large 1/16 scale kit is dated 1985. Features detailed chassis, suspension and exhaust, detailed engine and engine compartment, removable hood, full racing interior with roll cage, colorful decals, accessory floor jack, gas can and jack stands and more. While the actual transfers look clear, be prepared to have your own decals or reproduce these because I don't think they will work.

And any decal reinforced with cardboard will be equal to or greater than 1/4" thick, which USPS says must go at the normal 'box' rate. There is no choice; because I will not knowingly send decals to destruction, they will only ship in a box. So to eliminate or save significantly on shipping charges, please order them with model kits. Likewise, if you only purchase decals, try to order enough decals make the shipping cost (per sheet) worth while.

1966 second issue of the rare 1958 'Four Star' kit. Well detailed and has many features including moving tracks, moving winch, elevating and swiveling machine gun, operating doors, full interior, 9 realistic figures and more. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Please note that the box displays 'excellent++' but is graded 'very good++' because there is old tape residue at the lower center of the four side panels. The tape has long since fallen off due to age.

Late 1950s rare first issue of this very high quality, full-hull kit. Features a one piece hull, nine individually elevating 16" guns, rotating main and secondary turrets, fully detailed forward and aft island structures with radar, gun directors and range finders, individually molded 20mm guns with shields, helicopter, full rudder and propeller detail, detailed deck, flag sheet and full decals including draft markings. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, the #45 jackstaff. Easily made from wire or pulled sprue as it is simply a flag pole. Includes all other parts, decals and instructions. The decals are flat, 100% intact and in 'excellent' condition but the white and black colors are off-register. If you want to build the model, I recommend the superb Starfighter Decals sheet '1/500 Cold War Cruisers' which has multiple sizes of hull numbers in large quantities and much more.

This is the first issue dated 1964, the "Famous Fighters" oval on the four sides only and very graphic John Steel box artwork. The model features flexible treads, tank commander and three ground troops, two rifles, rotating turret, elevating gun optional position top hatch and working tracks/wheels. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Please note that the box displays as 'mint' but is graded 'excellent+++' because there are small, light areas of tape residue at the lower center of the four sides. The tape is long gone; it got old and fell off.

Very rare 1936 'Silver Box' issue. This is a Cleveland 'SF' or 'Scale Flying' model in museum scale of 1/16. This is the earlier simple cardboard box with the silver printing. All Cleveland kits were exceptionally complete and this one is no exception. Features very high quality balsa printwood, stringers and spars, fully carved nose, fully formed & finished wheels, thrust button, balsa blocks and stock as required, adhesive instrument panel, pre-hollowed wheel pants stock, metal stock, clear windshield celluloid and covering tissue. Includes the famous CD high-quality plans. Even includes the original factory packing tissue. The model has not been started. Inventoried complete with all parts and paperwork. The Cleveland Model and Supply Company played a pivotal role in the development of true scale models. In 1909 Bleriot's English Channel flight caused a surge in aviation and model aircraft around the globe. Several companies were ideally positioned to take advantage of the aviation craze. In the USA, Wading River Manufacturing Co. (1909), White Aeroplane (1911), Ideal Model Aeroplane (1911), Broadfield Model Aeroplanes (1919) were among these pioneers, offering everything from plans and parts to complete kits and ARF models. Lindbergh's 1927 crossing of the Atlantic Ocean caused an even bigger world-wide phenomenon called "The Aviation Craze" that extended up to the start of World War II. Many companies such as Megow, Guillow's and others started right around the time of Lindbergh's flight. Some of these models flew and flew well, but they all had one thing in common - were generally not accurate scale representations. In 1929, a youngster named Ed Packard had a very advanced dream- to produce incredibly accurate, true scale models that flew perfectly. This radical idea established the world's longest running single-owner (77 years) model airplane business- Cleveland Model and Supply Company. To this day, Cleveland models are treasured as the most accurate flying scale models produced. The fact that Mr. Packard started and successfully grew this business during The Great Depression is a testament to his ideals and business skill. I highly suggest the excellent book called 'Aviation's great Recruiter- Cleveland's Ed Packard' by H.L. (Herm) Schreiner. It is an excellent history of the man, his company and the times of the Golden Age of Model Aviation.
