These decals are 'mint' physical condition and have always been stored in a climate controlled residence. However, NOTE: four small sections of smaller markings have been cut out as shown and are missing. Includes the markings & paint guide sheet. On this website are two articles that fully explain how to save or reproduce older decals; please read read these before using any older model kit or aftermarket decals. To save on or eliminate shipping for decals, please order them with model kits or order enough of them to make boxing worth while. USPS clearly states that any flexible envelope will be bent 90 degrees or more within 2 inches, so I cannot send decals in a flexible envelope. A decal reinforced with cardboard will be greater than 1/4" thick, which USPS says must go as a normal box. There is no choice; because I will not send decals to their probable destruction, shipping in a box is the only option. I inquired about sending decals via "Media Mail" as the looks like the perfect solution; however, the US Post Master specifically called out decals as not being Media mail and prohibiting using it in that way. Yes, some businesses do anyway but it is against regulations. I have a great relationship with USPS and I cannot put that at risk.

This model is in an investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition box. The only box flaw is very slight wear. Dated 1956, but this is a 1960s issue with the later John Steel artwork and blue oval 'Aurora' logo with no 'Famous Fighters' in the logo. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. This is part of the famous Aurora WWI series of 1/48 scale aircraft. The series began in 1956 and Aurora added new kits into the early 1960s. The line proved incredibly popular, so these kits were included in the 'mold upgrade' in the 1970s before Aurora went out of business.

Still factory sealed and very rare in this condition. Out of production and from 2005. The model kit is beautifully cast in high-definition resin and features a large 1/7 Dracula figure, name plate dead tree, wall base and two bats. The matser was sculpted by the famous Jeff Yagher.

Very rare, one and only issue dated 1960. When Monogram invested in the tooling for the 18 aircraft "Air Power" set, the sales did not meet expectations. In order to increase revenue from the molds, Monogram issued three separate kits- the "Refueling Group," "Bomber Group" and "Fighter Group" in the "Forty Niner" series with the Tu-16 Badger, F-101 and P-40. These kits utilized aircraft from the Air Power set with special blue-molded display stands, unique decals and instructions. The two aircraft are well molded with recessed panel line detail. Decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition and the instructions in 'near mint+' condition. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. NOTE: this kit must be shipped double-boxed for protection.

1960 'S' issue with fantastic box artwork. Revell brought new life to the original F-104 molds by including four then-new AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles, missile ground trailer and ground crew. The box has like-new color and gloss, four solid corners and no tape or price tags or residue; this box even skipped the original factory sealing tape machine! There is light edge wear, a short 3/4 inch crease (not even visible in the photo) and a very small 'ding' on the right short side. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed and in wonderful, investment-grade 'Near Mint++' box condition. This is the 1964 issue that was made in England. It is usually molded in a beautiful deep gloss maroon plastic, but I cannot confirm that since it still sealed. This kit is the same scale as the other Aurora Knight kits. The ever-popular Aurora Knights have a fascinating history. In the mid 1950s, Aurora bought three 'Knight' molds from Crown Plastics and issued them as K1, K2 and K3. These were the very first Aurora figure kits. They sported the 1956-only rectangular 'Northern Lights' logo with the correct 'Crown Line' logo inside it. The sales success of the Knights prompted Aurora to launch an entire line of figure kits. The knights themselves stayed in production long after many other figures, aircraft and ships were discontinued - a fitting tribute to their popularity.
