A decal reinforced with cardboard will be greater than 1/4" thick, which USPS says must go as a normal box. There is no choice; because I will not send decals to their probable destruction, shipping in a box is the only option. I inquired about sending decals via "Media Mail" as the looks like the perfect solution; however, the US Post Master specifically called out decals as not being Media mail and prohibiting using it in that way. Yes, some businesses do anyway but it is against regulations. I have a great relationship with USPS and I will not endanger it.

So to eliminate or save significantly on shipping charges, please order them with model kits. Likewise, if you only purchase decals, try to order enough decals make the shipping cost (per sheet) worth while.

Late 1970s issue with incredible box art. This well molded, large-scale Hayabusa includes a beautiful & large full color painting guide and decals for three Japanese aircraft including the Royal Thai Air Force. Features very fine recessed and raised panel lines, positionable pilot figure, highly detailed engine and cockpit, parts for two versions and optional position canopy. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

This model is in an investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition box. The only box flaw is very slight wear. Dated 1956, but this is a 1960s issue with the later John Steel artwork and blue oval 'Aurora' logo with no 'Famous Fighters' in the logo. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. This is part of the famous Aurora WWI series of 1/48 scale aircraft. The series began in 1956 and Aurora added new kits into the early 1960s. The line proved incredibly popular, so these kits were included in the 'mold upgrade' in the 1970s before Aurora went out of business.

Very rare, one and only issue dated 1960. When Monogram invested in the tooling for the 18 aircraft "Air Power" set, the sales did not meet expectations. In order to increase revenue from the molds, Monogram issued three separate kits- the "Refueling Group," "Bomber Group" and "Fighter Group" in the "Forty Niner" series with the Tu-16 Badger, F-101 and P-40. These kits utilized aircraft from the Air Power set with special blue-molded display stands, unique decals and instructions. The two aircraft are well molded with recessed panel line detail. Decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition and the instructions in 'near mint+' condition. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. NOTE: this kit must be shipped double-boxed for protection.

1960 'S' issue with fantastic box artwork. Revell brought new life to the original F-104 molds by including four then-new AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles, missile ground trailer and ground crew. The box has like-new color and gloss, four solid corners and no tape or price tags or residue; this box even skipped the original factory sealing tape machine! There is light edge wear, a short 3/4 inch crease (not even visible in the photo) and a very small 'ding' on the right short side. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
