Still factory sealed and very rare in this condition. The long, low lines and graceful fins stretching from the "A" pillar to the taillights made for a beautiful Desoto. Sales in 1960 lagged, however. It was not that the car was bad - the cars were reliable and stunning performers. Desoto was more the victim of corporate political infighting than anything else. The 1960s were the last full line, with a brief introduction of two Desoto Automobiles in 1961. Since Desoto cars were still in demand, some dealerships even sued the Chrysler Corporation for discontinuing the line. This model is very well molded and detailed. It features full engine & detailed compartment, opening hood, complete interior, spotlight, gearshift/turn signal/tach assembly, seat belts, side view mirrors and more. Molded in colored plastic (the color varies kit to kit), clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate parts and rubber tires.

Still factory sealed and from 1978. This is the once-legendary 1/72 Vulcan 'V' Bomber from Nova Models. It is a very good vacuformed kit with full size plans and decals by Micro Scale. Please note that vacuform kits are for experienced model builders only. Certain scratch building skills are required as well as a well-stocked spare parts box. Novo Models was a division of the very famous Archer's Products, which was part of Archer's Hobby World. Archer's Hobby World was a distributor of plastic models including (what was then) very exotic subjects which were only available in vacuform.

Rare and the only real kit of this subject in this scale. Features excellent quality, pressure-cast, high definition resin hull and superstructure, finely cast metal details, photoetched brass parts and more. Includes decals. The kit has never been started. HMS Bristol (D23) was a Type 82 destroyer and the only vessel of her class to be built for the Royal Navy. She was intended to be the first of a class of large destroyers to escort the CVA-01 aircraft carriers projected to come into service in the early 1970s but the rest of the class and the CVA-01 carriers were canceled as a result of the 1966 Defense White Paper which cut defense spending.Following a long & successful career which included the Falklands War, she was converted into a training ship in 1987. In 1991 while part of the Dartmouth training squadron, she suffered a boiler explosion that damaged the vessel beyond economical repair. No longer having enough value to be sold to another navy, she became a Harbour Training ship. She was decommissioned in Portsmouth on 28 October 2020.

Large-scale ex-KVZ Cold-War model of this unusual French short-haul airliner. This was one of KVZ's better efforts and features good fit and finish, fine raised panel lines, recessed door and control surface outlines, separately molded counter-rotating propellers, complete landing gear, separately molded elevators, a tree of clear cockpit windows and other fuselage clear and more. Very Rare. 1956 first and only issue holiday season Gift Set that contains the following kits: M-4 Sherman, 155mm Gun and High Speed Tractor, Jeep and Trailer and GI Figures. The Sherman features movable track and suspensions, opening hatches, elevating gun and rotating turret. Includes tank commander soldiers 'Set For Action'. The 155mm gun and tractor has many working features; the M-4 tractor has movable tracks and working bogies, rotating and elevating machine gun, driver and interior details. The 155mm gun can deployed for action or stowed for transport. The Long Tom features and elevating barrel, moving limbers, detailed mechanism and all correct gear for transport. The jeep features rotating wheels, radio, jerry cans, detailed chassis and suspension, tilting windshield, driver, soldier & general figure, detachable trailer with rotating wheels, generator, cable reel, packs, tool box and more. The total number of 'Action Posed' GI Figures is 23. The kits have never been started. The Tractor and Long Tom still have the small parts in the factory sealed bag; the parts that were not sealed have been inventoried complete and includes decals and 'excellent' instructions. The Sherman Tank, Jeep and Trailer and GI Figures have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and 'excellent' or better condition instructions for all kits. Please note that the paints, brush and glue are not present. The box is not perfect but displays very well. It has very good color and gloss four solid original corner with no repairs, no tape or price tags, no marks from price tags or tape (other than the usual light marks on the box top from the Christmas 'Gift Wrap' ribbon/tape) no fading and no tears. Flaws include light creasing, even & general even wear on the flat surfaces, light edge wear and moderate corner wear as shown. The four box top sides are in 'very good' condition as the top is. The box tray (bottom) is 'excellent' with four solid corners, no rips or tears and the two internal cardboard trays are still in 'very good+' condition and factory-stapled to the sides of the tray.

First issue from late 1964. Very rare, especially in an 'excellent' box, untouched inside, never started and 100% complete. Also has no significant tire burns (I did not see any; if there are any, they are very small). This is a well detailed model with full engine and engine compartment, complete interior, opening hood, numerous optional parts and much more. Molded in white, chrome, clear, red-tinted clear and with rubber wheels, metal axles and metal body screws. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals are flat but have typical age cracking with some slight lifting, so they are graded 'good'. Instructions are 'excellent+.'

Not the commmon Slava-class Varyag, but the much rarer Kynda-Class ship. Very highly detailed and well molded kit that sells new for $57. This is a high-definition cast resin waterline model. Never started. The parts are all still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes illustrated instructions. The Project 58 Missile cruisers, known to NATO as the Kynda class were the first Soviet missile cruisers and a considerable advance for the Soviet Navy. Their main role was anti-surface warfare using the SS-N-3b 'Shaddock' missile. The design proved top-heavy and was soon succeeded by the larger Kresta I, but the Kyndas stayed in service until the fall of the Soviet Union.

Very rare classic Cold-War kit from the late 1950s. The Atomic Cannon was the Army's 20 mile range gun that could fire shells that contains small atomic bombs. The model is very highly detailed for that time and features transporters with movable wheels, towing yokes, fully detailed cab interiors, complete suspension and elevating and swiveling machine guns; the Atomic Cannon itself can be configured for firing or towing positions, the barrel elevates by actual operating gears, the carriage rotates 360 degrees on platform and it actually fires 2 "Atomic" shells. Includes crew of 7. Inside, the model is factory new. It has never been started. The internal factory cardboard divider is present and in 'excellent' condition. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the factory sealed bags; the parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. With decals and instructions. The decals are very loosely rolled and in 'very good' condition with the typical yellowing as the main flaws. The instructions are in 'excellent' condition with minimal yellowing and a slight bit of wear and creasing to the right side of the cover page. The box has like-new color and gloss with no rips, no price tags or tag marks, no tape or tape marks (other than the factory sealing tape), four solid corners, no repairs and no fading. However, it does have very light age foxing (which is very difficult to see, it is so light) and light edge & corner wear with two small spots of moderate edge wear on the left vertical edge. the four box sides are in the same condition as the top except NOTE: There is one factory tape litho pull on the lower long side. It measures 1.5" x .5".The amazing M65 280mm atomic cannon originally started life as a conventional artillery piece. Development first began in 1944 before the first atomic weapon had been tested. Far from being 'just another giant gun', the M65 was carefully designed to be a very mobile and versatile weapon. Liberal use of aluminum and other light-weight metals kept the weight of the gun and both transports to about 85 tons, which is not much more than the largest conventional gun of WWII. As a result, it is light enough to be carried by trucks and cross bridges without collapsing them. Size was also a major factor, as it can fit inside landing craft, turn street corners of an amazingly small radius and travel as fast at 35 mph. The two transporters are required to move the gun, with one in back and one in front. Power is supplied to each tractor by a 6 cylinder engine with 375 horsepower. Both transmissions are manually controlled. These 4x4 machines can push, pull or parallel one another - with the gun slung between them. The driver of the front tractor has control of the brakes and throttles of both units and can communicate to the rear driver by telephone. The gun can be traversed in a complete circle and has a range of up to 20 miles. A complete 280mm batter consisted of two guns, four 5-ton trucks towing ammunition trailers, another two trucks pulling a pair of generator trailers (each with a 30 KW generator to furnish power to the guns, a 5th truck carrying four shell carts and a 2 1/2 ton shop van. The total crew was about 100 men. Each gun could be set up to fire in less than 12 minutes and can fire a round every two minutes.
