Original issue dated 1975. Includes the very desirable color Diorama Instructions. Very highly detailed model with interior; Monogram simply added a clear fuselage half to make this 'The Visible B-17'. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The box sides are rougher than the top, mainly because of plenty of clear tape and some closed tears; that is why the box is only graded 'good'.

This is the 1994 reissue using the same artwork and molds from the 1957 first issue. Has many working features - propeller spins, cowl comes off to show detailed engine, wheel retract into floats and doors open to reveal detailed interior. Also has standing pilot figure and swimsuit beauty with skis. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.
