1970s Life-Like release from original quality Pyro molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of their kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. Even luckier is the fact that Life-Like reissued most of these kits. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior and a removable hood or 'bonnet.' It has rubber tires, brass colored (not plated) parts, medium blue and clear parts. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. This model has an interesting history. Although the molds were made by Pyro, this kit was never released under the Pyro name due to the timing of Pyro selling off their plastic kit business to Life-Like. Other Pyro molds that were introduced under the Life-Like name included the Stanley Steamer, 1910 Buick and 1908 Lanchester.

Includes a factory-sealed Cutting Edge #CEBM72049 B-36 Peacemaker Canopy & Wheel Hub Mask Set, which is designed for this model. The actual kit is the 1980 first issue with the finest mold quality. Highly detailed and features a very good cockpit, nose compartment and landing gear, crew of four, optional position bomb bay doors with 80 bombs, optional electronic fairings, rotating propellers, moving tail turret. optional position landing gear and much more. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

Early 1960s reissue from the original 1950s molds; Tom Morgan's work replaced the original Ray Gaedke box art. The Comet was the world's first operational airliner. The small scale model measures 7.5 inches long and features complete landing gear (which can be left off for an 'in flight' build), display stand and a long and complete decal sheet which includes fuselage side stripes w/windows, tail registration & 'Speedbird', BOAC text for the fuselage and wing fuel pods and upper/lower wing registration. Molded in white/ivory plastic. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The scale given is my estimate based on measuring the fuselage of the aircraft; it is not prefectly accurate.

1950s issue with fantastic Ray Gaedke artwork. This is a very well molded kit and features fine & realistic surface detail, pilot and seat, clear windscreen, centerline drop tank, two optional wing-mounted small bombs, rotating propeller & wheels, ailerons push rods and more. Includes completed kit photos that also serve as a rigging diagram. Molded in white and clear plastic. The decals are for the colorful box top aircraft. Never started and inventoried with all aircraft parts complete and with decals and instructions. NOTE: missing the display stand. The decals are flat and 100% complete, but one insignia has been cut out (and it is present). The instructions have the 'missing part' coupon cut out; but the aircraft is complete with all parts. Please note that the box displays much better than the 'good++' grade but is rated as such because there is light rubber band residue & damage going from the top of the box to the bottom, just left of center, as shown in the photo.

Rare and much more so in remarkable, investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. This 1965 hardbox issue had new artwork that year and is from the original well-detailed molds. This is a large, 1/8 scale model that features the horse will the armor and the Knight with armor and weapons as shown on the box top. The horse is molded in black while all other parts are molded in a darker gold. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.

This model form 1972 is part of the famous Aurora "Prehistoric Scenes" series which was wildly popular and included many different kits. This Saber Tooth Tiger includes a total of 8 movable limbs (4 are stock and 4 are optional), two different bases and and antelope leg take-out dinner. Never started and inventoried with all parts and photocopied instructions present. However, NOTE: there are several drops of paint on some of the limbs. The original instructions are missing; the ones present are photocopies of the assembly page.
