1963 hard box issue with John Steel artwork. Very well detailed and features flexible tracks, working bogie and idler wheels, interior, crew, movable bulldozer blade & ammunition loader, ammo load and much more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. No decals are shown on the instructions and none are present. NOTE: the bogies, idlers & their two mounting plates are a slightly different shade of green than the other parts. I believe that they are from another issue of this same kit.

$29
1972 issue with revised molds with significantly better mold quality. Includes pilot, ground crewman. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and the actual aircraft and figures are complete and include decals and instructions. NOTE: missing the terrain display base. One wing strut is a different color of plastic; it is from an earlier issue of this same model. The aircraft represented in this kit fought with the Polish Air Force against the Ukranian forces in 1919 but by that point it was a D-VIII. The Fokker E.V was a fantastic performer and the result of a longtime Fokker development, the cantilever wing. In addition to greatly reducing drag, a properly built cantilever wing is very light and strong. This wing was first used on prototype V17 and then on V28 which took part in the Second Fight Competition (July 6-14 1918) where the most experienced German front line pilots chose new fighters for late war service. V28 was chosen for it's excellent flying properties and 200 of the production aircraft, known as the Fokker E.V, were ordered. Over 289 aircraft were delivery. The E.V began front line service on August 5, 1918; Lt. Emil Rolff of Jasta 6 reported an aerial victory on August 17. However, the day before, an E.V suffered catastrophic wing failure. Two days later, the same failure cost Lt. Rolff his life. All E.Vs were immediately grounded. A detailed investigation showed that there were fatal defects in the wing assembly caused by slack manufacturing processes. Although it was not his fault, Fokker took this opportunity to re-design and strengthen the wing. Existing E.V aircraft received new wings and newly built aircraft were designated D.VIII. Modified aircraft made it back to the front in November, too late for service. However, the aircraft saw active service after that war with the Freikorps air units, the Polish Air Force against Russia, the Dutch Air Force and an unspecified number went to France and the USA.

This is promotional model kit from Singapore Airlines and was probably either given away in First Class or could be purchased at a company store or magazine. The small scale model has 7 pieces including the display stand and is already molded in the correct colors - white fuselage & vertical stabilizer and silver wings, engine and horizontal stabilizer. The display base is black. Includes a comprehensive decal sheet (for this scale) with all side stripes, windows, doors, cockpit windows, tail colors and more. The gold is especially reflective. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions, which are on the back of the box. This model is in the 'in flight' configuration only.
Resin Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
$175
Very Rare, large scale model of this famous moon explorer. The battery powered Rover greatly expanded the area that the Apollo Astronauts could cover during their brief stay on the Moon. This is a very well detailed cast high-definition resin model kit with a few brass & copper details. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes illustrated instructions.

Most likely from the 1960s judging from the appearance and the rest of the collection that they were found in. The tires are in 'near mint' condition and marked "PIRELLI" and "4.0-19". The chrome rims are a bit aged but still 'very good.' Never used; by that I mean that the rims were never glued to a car model or any other type of display.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
$38
Late 1960s/early '70s model with very collectible artwork on a high gloss box top. This is an excellent model for that time, well molded and detailed with all fine recessed panel lines & fine raised rivet detail, a very good cockpit, detailed engine and firewall, two piece canopy, drop tank, standing and sitting pilot figures and more. Includes a painting guide and a large decal sheet for at least four Japanese aircraft and one from the Thailand Air Force. The model as never been started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Even includes an unopened tube of Nichimo glue and a decorative heavy cardboard packing insert designed just for this kit. Initially the Oscar entered production as the Army Type 1 Fighter Model 1A Hayabusa (Ki-43-1a). While a fine aircraft, it was under-armed. The -I had (2) 7.7 machine guns, the -II with (1) 7.7 and (1) 12.7 and finally the -III with (2) 12.7s.

In the 1970, MPC issued the popular 'Profile Series' kits. You could build the model any one of the three (and sometimes 4) ways illustrated on the box cover and the kit was from quality Airfix molds. This Black Widow includes decals for the 425th Night Fighter Sq, 9th USAAF, Picauville, France 1944; 550th Night Fighter Squadron, 5th USAAF, Morotai, Dutch Indies 1944 or the prototype P-61A-10-NO model flown by Lt. R.C. Bolinder. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'mint' condition which is rare for any MPC Profile Series kit.

1970s issue from the quality Airfix B-24J molds. The decals are for a ship from 392nd that was lost in action over Germany on April 11, 1944. Well detailed and features elevating guns, rotating turrets, movable control surfaces, retracting landing gear, rotating propellers, optional position crew entry door, boarding ladder, crew members and more. This special issue includes the MPC Modular Display Stand, four optional clear propeller disks for the 'engines running' look and a large decal sheet with marking for the box art aircraft and a 'custom' version. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bag and decals and instructions are included. The decals are in remarkable 'near mint ++' condition which is rare for MPC kits of this era.

NOTE: this kit has been Four Wheel Drive Motorized to 'professional' standards. Please read carefully for the condition of the kit as it is a builder. First, the frame and rear suspension were built and converted to hold a factory (probably Tamiya) Four Wheel Drive Unit that runs off a 9 volt battery. The drive unit and battery holder are neatly tucked into the front of the frame (under the cab). The metal drive shaft, through a support and 3 flexible joints, powers two steel gear boxes with brass gears and metal shafts. To these drive shafts are bolted 4 scale custom chrome wheels per shaft. The tires are upgraded to real rubber (since the kit just injection molded them). The vast majority of the rear suspension parts were used for a scale appearance, but some naturally could not be used and are no longer present. Since you can't convert this back to stock anyway, that's OK. There is some other minor, adult 'near mint to mint' quality sub-assembly (with liquid glue) as follows: inner fenders to outer fenders; front bumper; front axle and steering gear (work perfectly). There is no other assembly. The kit has been inventoried. As I mentioned earlier, the few small rear suspension parts that would not fit with the motorizing gear have been discarded. Also, one wheel is missing but that does not matter since 8 of them have already been replaced with upgrades. All other parts are present and includes decals and instructions.

Rare 1972 'Big A' logo Glow issue. This model came with the standard black plastic parts but also with optional Glow In The Dark parts also. The kit is from the original 1960s molds and features Frankie, his tombstone and 'Ground Plot' display base. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions present but NOTE: the leg and shoe halves have had glue very lightly and neatly (clearly by an adult) on them but they are not stuck together. Even the guide pins are still intact like they were not built.
