Includes a factory sealed Eduard 48-105 P-47D Thunder Bolt PE Detail Set designed for this kit with two big frets, dozens of pieces, film instruments and full instructions. The actual model is the 1973 Monogram/Mattel 'Tall Box' release. This is a very finely molded and detailed model in the finest Monogram tradition. It features very fine raised panel lines, recessed control surface markings, an excellent cockpit, opening canopy, detailed gear wells, pilot figure, centerline drop tank, two wing mounted bombs and more. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The box is graded only 'very good+' because there is edge wear, especially on the left side.

Still factory 'round-tape' sealed. Features 123 pieces, movable control surfaces, opened or closed bomb bay with bomb load, full crew, optional position undercarriage and more. Hampdens, along with Whitley and Wellingtons, formed the RAF's Heavy Bomber force at the outbreak of WWII. Dusty Rhodes provided more information on the box art aircraft - Hampden AE240 took off from RAF Scampton at 1443 hours on the 12th February 1942, detailed to attack the German battleships Scharnhorst and Gneisenau in the English Channel. Nothing was heard from the aircraft after take off and the aircraft and crew disappeared without trace. The Squadron lost 4 aircraft on this mission.

The box art photograph is a built model of this kit, which is loaded with Lindberg action features including moving ailerons, elevator and rudder, four detailed turbojet engines, opening access panels in each wing, detailed main gear wells, rotating wheels, cockpit with pilot figures, scale truck with driver, scale jet fuel trailer, mechanic figure and more. Even includes the 1950s large, clear, round-based display stand. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Decals are for the much-photographed XA930 which lead a very long and distinguished RAF career.

Rare, original issue 4-Star kit from 1961. Very highly detailed for that time and features a unique system for retracting and extending the landing gear: when you pull the propeller outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Also features movable ailerons, elevator and rudder, detailed cockpit, sliding canopy, pilot figure and more. Includes rigging material and instructions for rigging. Molded in the correct red, yellow, silver and clear plastic. The original internal yellow cardboard presentation material is present and in 'near mint' condition. The kit has never been started. First issue hardbox dated 1962. This kit is part of a very famous World War II action kit line that Monogram issued in 1/48 scale during the 1960s. Very well molded and features Monogram's perfect fit and finish, retractable landing gear, pilot, four bladed propeller, 20mm cannon, belly tank and more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The decals are flat and 100% intact but NOTE: there is age micro-cracking. The box is only 'good++' because of big damage on the upper right corner as shown and age spotting on the four box sides.

Original issue Revell 'S' hardbox kit from 1956 with the fantastic box art that has made these kits so famous and collectible. The box is in remarkable 'Excellent++' condition. The actual model is highly detailed and well molded. Features deck guns, all masts and booms, barges and landing craft, deck fittings and much more. Never started and inventoried 100% complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The USS Randall was on of 57 Haskell Class Attack Transports built for service in and immediately after WWII. The ships were designed to carry troops close to the beachheads, transfer them to landing barges (carried on board) and to supervise the landing operations. Her length was 455 feet and she could handle 1,560 troops and carry 3000 tons of equipment. Through her colorful career she earned many awards. She had to tours in the Pacific including Iwo Jima and Okinawa. After the war she took part in 'Magic Carpet'. Her Hollywood career was in the movie 'Away All Boats' in which she played the Belinda'.

Rare and even more so in investment-grade 'Near Mint' box condition. The box artwork is copyright dated 1953 but the actual date of this release is about 1955/56 due to the beautiful and large fold-out instructions with an amazing cut-away, full-color drawing of the ship. This model builds to an excellent kit and features detailed decks and fittings, lifeboats, decals, flags and rigging instructions. Never started. Inside, it is exactly as it came from the factory with the small parts still in the clear factory-sealed bag and the larger parts (which were never sealed) inventoried complete. Includes decals, color flag sheet and the amazing large-format instructions.
