This is the complete printwood set dated 1933 and 1942 from two Cleveland kits. Once you have this printwood, you only need the straight wood stock of stringers & spars, a few balsa blocks and some scrap wood to build a complete kit. All of the plans are available, please see the link in this description. This printwood came from a long time collector of 1930s and 1940s models and they are in exceptional condition. Never started. All sheets of printwood are included and uncut. Plans for these kits and all other Cleveland kits are currently available on line at www.https://clevelandairline.com/primary.aspx. Cleveland Model and Supply Company played a pivotal role in the development of true scale models. In 1909 Bleriot's English Channel flight caused a surge in aviation and model aircraft around the globe. Several companies were ideally positioned to take advantage of the aviation craze. In the USA, Wading River Manufacturing Co. (1909), White Aeroplane (1911), Ideal Model Aeroplane (1911), Broadfield Model Aeroplanes (1919) were among these pioneers, offering everything from plans and parts to complete kits and ARF models. Lindbergh's 1927 crossing of the Atlantic Ocean caused an even bigger world-wide phenomenon called "The Aviation Craze" that extended up to the start of World War II. Many companies such as Megow, Guillow's and others started right around the time of Lindbergh's flight. Some of these models flew and flew well, but they all had one thing in common - were generally not accurate scale representations. In 1929, a youngster named Ed Packard had a very advanced dream- to produce incredibly accurate, true scale models that flew perfectly. This radical idea established the world's longest running single-owner (77 years) model airplane supply business - Cleveland Model and Supply Company. To this day, Cleveland models are treasured as the most accurate flying scale models produced. The fact that Mr. Packard started and successfully grew this business during The Great Depression is a testament to his ideals and business skill. I highly suggest the excellent book called 'Aviation's great Recruiter - Cleveland's Ed Packard' by H.L. (Herm) Schreiner. It is an excellent history of the man, his company and the times of the Golden Age of Model Aviation.

Includes factory sealed Qunita Studio #QD48182 1/48 MV-22 Osprey Interior 3D Decal set and Caracal Models #CD48211 Osprey Part II Decal Set For US Marines MVV-365, VMM-363 and VMM-362. The actual model is very crisply molded and features all fine, recessed panel lines, excellent cockpit and gear well detail, complete cargo interior, PE details, operating rear boarding doors, folding or flight position propeller blades, pivoting engines, working trailing edge wing flaps and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

1963 issue in an excellent hardbox with very good gloss and color. This kit was issued after Aurora bought Comet's molds. Comet had made two B-58s - a very small scale one and a bigger version, as they did with many models. This one is the larger version. The original molds were cut in the late 1950s and the kit is well detailed for it's time with all recessed panel lines, full landing gear, the large fuel/weapons single 'pod', clear windshield, pilot and the Comet 'teardrop' base display stand. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing two wheels. Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes decals and instructions, both in 'excellent' condition.

Because the USPS clearly states that any flexible envelope will be bent 90 degrees or more in 2 inches, I cannot send decals in a flexible envelope. And any decal reinforced with cardboard will be greater than 1/4" thick, which USPS says must go as a normal box. There is no choice; because I will not knowingly send decals to destruction, they will only ship decals in a box. So to save on or eliminate shipping for decals, please order them with model kits or order enough of them to make boxing worth while.

This 'S' hardbox issue is dated 1956, but from the price extension of '349', it is most likely from about 1958/1959. Very well detailed and molded large kit that features a full, one-piece hull, complete propeller and rudder detail, moving Elevators, crane and antenna booms, separately molded anti-aircraft guns and directors, detailed island structure with sensor suite, and much more. Includes an Air Wing of helicopters, A3D Skywarriors, FJ Furys, F7U Cutlass and Banshee aircraft. The kit has never been started. Inside, the parts are still in the Revell factory sealed bag, which is most unusual. This must have been right around the first time that Revell started to experiment with sealing the parts inside such a large kit. Includes decals and instructions, both of which are in 'excellent++' condition.
