Still factory sealed and in fantastic, investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. Rare, large-scale original issue that was purchased new in December of 1973 in Akron, Ohio The MPC Pirates of the Caribbean series were unique and all of them became very collectible, classic kits. Each model is a full diorama and included extra bones, etc. so you could add your own touches. The 'Zap Action' feature was always interesting. In the case of the Mutineers, you press a button, and one pirate attempts to help lift his fellow pirate from a pit. Instead, he pulls his arm off clean off. For young children, this was an object lesson of the true power of a rubber band.

Rare. Still factory sealed and dated 1972. The MPC Pirates of the Caribbean series were unique and all of them became very collectible, classic kits. Each model is a full diorama and included extra bones, etc. so you could add your own touches. The 'Zap Action' feature was always interesting. For the this model, the 'mate' is being attacked by an octopus (for starters) but a much worse fate awaits him; unfortunately he is shackled to a ships anchor, which is about to slide overboard. His shipmate, arrives in the nick of time and cuts the anchor chain. Includes a bonus Jollly Roger Belt Badge.

Very hard-to-find large model kit of this Soviet Early Warning Aircraft based on the An-72. NATO codenamed 'Madcap', it had the ability to detect enemy emissions at very long ranges, classify the signals, plot the coordinates of the emitters and simultaneously track 120 low-flying, low-contrast targets. It also functioned as a command post and fighter aircraft director. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Most likely from the early 1970s. This 'Big Gun' L/60 equipped Puma is well detailed for that time and features a Mabuchi motor, pinion gears, all-metal gear box, complete metal running hardware and wiring, metal front steering gear, rubber tires, injection molded man parts, working drive wheel suspension, rotating turret, gun ports, headlights, spare tire holder and much more. Never started. The hardware parts are still in the factory sealed bag. All other parts have been inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions.

Very likely the 3rd issue of this kit because the boxtop oval logo does not have the 'Famous Fighters' in the border. It is dated 1960 but is from 1963+ issue. This was a good kit for the time, featuring 'good' cockpit detail, pilot and student figures, rotating propeller and US Navy decals. Molded in yellow and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Rare and from 1959. Revell had an impressive line of trackside structures. The Sand & Pump house features excellent detail, parts molded in three colors, clear windows & door 'glass', swinging doors & sliding doors that open and close, movable sand spout, numerous accessories and three figures. Still factory sealed but the seal is split and starting to disintegrare on one end. This Big 'A' Logo issue is dated 1972 and this is likely the third release of this kit. Features full cockpit, pilot and copilot figures, rotating main and rear rotors and optional weapons load of miniguns or rocket pods. In the late 1960s Aurora realized that the older molds were out of date and modelers were demanding more realism. They made a new set of molds for ships, airplanes and helicopters. These were significant improvements as the new molds were on par with current offerings. This Cobra kit is one of the improved models.

Rare in 100% complete and never started condition. This classic 24" long Cold War SSBN kit is from about 1960. Features a complete and detailed interior almost identical to the dramatic box art and the starboard hull half opens downward to display it. Features rotating propeller, working diving planes, rudders, periscopes, snorkels, actual 'launching' Polaris missile from a spring-loaded tube, two Polaris A-1 missiles, crew members and much more. Includes a display stand which conceals the hinge for the starboard hull half. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. There is bug damage to the decal backing paper only; the actual transfers have no damage. The box is only in 'good-' (not collectible) condition. It has fine color but significant general wear, especially on the corners and edges. There are two large litho tape pulls on both long sides and a closed split corner at the lower left side.

This model is a limited run from the ex-Strombecker molds, which was a very nicely detailed model for that time. Never started. The gray plastic parts are still in the factory sealed bag. The clear part were not sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes instructions. Includes decals but NOTE: decals are heavily water damaged and cannot be used. These flying boats established routes to China in the late 1930s. Those who could afford to fly them did so in luxury that is unheard of in air travel today.
