Still factory sealed but the seal has shrunk with age and drawn the box concave as shown. This model is from ex-ITC Ideal Molds from the late 1950s or very early 1960s. It is ideal for R/C conversion as ITC did issue a motorized version (R/C parts & driveline not included). It is a large and well detailed model for that time and features full hull, complete deck fittings, detailed superstructure, weapons, railing stanchions, ventilators and more. Includes a display stand. The striking Jack Leynnwood box art showing SCs attacking in defense of a convoy, under a threatening sky. SC96 served in the Med during WW I. USsubchasers were considered an important deterrent to Central Powers submarine activity in the theater.

1962 hardbox issue with great color and gloss. The famous Memphis Belle was the first 8th Air Force Bomber to complete the 25 mission rotation over Hitler's Germany. This is an all-time favorite Revell kit with many operating features including movable gun turrets, movable control surfaces, opening bomb bay, rotating props and wheels and retracting landing gear. Never started. The parts and all paperwork are both still in the internal factory sealed bag. Literally the entire contents of the kit are factory sealed.

First issue from 1958 with classic and very collectible 'S' issue artwork. Little John was a light-weight free-flight rocket that was highly mobile. It could be pulled on its launcher or transported by helicopter. The length was 12 feet long and the warhead was atomic. The Dart was a very early wire guided anti-tank missile with a solid propellant rocket motor. It was five feet long and used an optical range finder was used for guidance. These models are well detailed. The Dart includes four missiles, one launcher, three stands, decals, one optical guidance unit and a crew of three. The Little John includes a detailed launcher with elevating rails, movable support legs, decals and crew of three. Molded in white and olive drab plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Even with 6 jet engines, this aircraft still would have had the range to hit New York with 4000kg of bombs and return. By 1943 the Japanese Empire had to cope with not only a lack of raw materials suitable for aircraft production but also with a lack of qualified experts in this field. The Air Force Command decided to modify and rebuilt some proven designs using non-strategic materials such as wood and to disperse manufacturing to outside areas that work with wood, such as furniture & automobile production. In 1943 this was only applied to training and school aircraft. The Yokosuka D3Y1-K was a full-wood training dive bomber for the Imperial Navy. It mounted a Mitsubishi Kinsei 54 air cooled radial engine and was given the name Myojo (Venus). Production was entrusted to the small Matsushita company, which produced only three by the surrender.

The Sea Dart was a supersonic design that could take off and land from water using retractable hydro-skis. Five prototypes were built and over 300 test flights made. The advent of the super carrier spelled the end of the Sea Dart, although 4 still exist on display today.
