Original hardbox issue from 1957 and not the common reissue. This is a very well detailed model for that time and features fully operational launcher and crew. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the box is only graded 'good' because 'OK' is written on the box top and two short sides in permanent black market and there is one closed split corner. There is also general wear (mainly the edges) as shown.

Rare and an ideal builder. Constant scale kit includes all three missiles on a unique and colorful cardboard display. Inside, the kit is like new and has never been started. The box has extensive damage as shown and the sides are in similar condition.

Rare. Original one-and-only issue dated 1958. The box is in 'very good' condition with brilliant color and gloss, four solid corners & no repairs, stains or tears, and no price tags or tape (other than the factory sealing tape, of course). The flaws are edge and corner wear and light general wear, the two small lithograph chips at the very lower right, a light crease at the top left and other light general wear as shown. The model features a loading crane elevates and swivels 360 degrees & is fully rigged with blocks and tackle; a realistic simulation of the entire load-to-launching process can be duplicated with the trailer, truck, crane and launch pad, crew of 4, textured concrete base, missile launch pad, removable Jupiter IRBM and more. Molded in correct white and olive drab. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The decals are perfectly flat, intact and grade 'excellent+' condition with light age yellow as the only flaw. The instructions are in 'excellent+' condition with slight age yellowing. NOTE: Parts #35, crane corner, is broken in two. Both parts are present and they fit back together perfectly. On two of the crane booms parts, several of the fine braces are broken out. For one, all of the broken parts are present; for another a few tiny braces are broken out and missing. These are straight sections that can be replaced with stock plastic or pulled sprue.

Excellent model from 2000 that builds the skeletal inner structure of a Nieuport 28. Features over 190 laser cut hardwood (basswood, birch and plywood) parts, over 200 Britannia metal, copper, aluminum, steel, brass and rubber parts and over 50 Britannia metal castings for the Gnome-Rhone Type 9N rotary engine complete with all cylinders, distributor, spark plugs and crankcase. Details other than the engine (which is a kit to itself) include turnbuckles, guy wires, compression bar, pulleys, wire support brackets, struts, flight instruments, tires and much more. Includes three sheets of full size plans and very detailed instructions. Completed wingspan is 20 inches. Never started. All of the small parts and many of the large parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The few larger parts are not sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes all plans and instructions.
Aurora 1931 Miller Special 1931 Indianapolis 500 Winner - (ex Best), 1/30, 523-79

Very rare and from 1958. Best originally created the line of Indianapolis 500 Winner kits; Aurora purchased them shortly after their introduction and reissued them for a short time. The model features driver and mechanic figures, some interior detail, spoke wheels and very nice decals. Molded in white plastic with real rubber tires It has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please note that the box is 100% intact with no repairs, no split corners, tears or missing litho but is graded 'good-' because of the age foxing (brown tint) and general but very even wear as shown. Louis Schneider and 'Jigger Johnson' (driver and mechanic) drove the Bowes Seal Special to victory in 1931. The Miller Special had rear wheel drive, and eight cylinder 151.7 CID Miller engine and won the day averages 96.629 miles per hour. The track was dangerously unsafe that year due to a heavy drizzle that made driving over 80 mph dangerous - at one point, drivers were required to slow down to 80 mph and passing was not allowed other than the pit area. There were many spectacular accidents but the rain did relent and there were many speeds over 100 mph in the later part.

Very rare Revell of Japan issue dated 1975. Please note the fantastic box art work, which was only used on this issue. Most Japan issues have special features; this kit is no exception. The front page of the instructions is a glossy, full-color 16.5" x 11.5" painting guide and also has a giant color photo of the assembled model. Large and well detailed kit features detailed engines, removable cowls, full cockpit, hinged canopies, crew figures, detailed weapons bay and removable access cover, complete radar antenna, very good landing gear detail and excellent decals. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Very rare. 1978 issue that features a beautifully cast metal upper body, lower body (fenders) and hood. Highly detailed and well molded featuring full rolling chassis just like the actual car, detailed engine, removable hood, complete interior, opening rumble seat, spare-tire mounted side view mirrors, removable convertible top and more. Molded in gray, white, clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires and metal body parts. Never started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: Missing two small parts - #96 and #99, which are both rear tail light brackets. (These two parts can be easily obtained because they are included in the more common normal issues of the Monogram Duesenberg.) Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes instructions.

Rare issue with 'Famous Fighters' in the oval sunburst logo; this release only lasted only one year and is the true 1961 issue. (in 1962 the 'Famous Fighters' was dropped from the logo). Very rare. 1932 early RTF stick-and-tissue model from Western Aircraft Manufacturing Company, Los Angeles California. The box and kit are both in investment-grade 'near mint' condition. I had seen these in 1930s magazines but did not know if any were left. All of the pieces of this aircraft have been factory assembled and simply need to be put together with the supplied rubber bands. The fuselage/rubber stick is cut, finished & painted and has both metal rubber motor clips installed. The wing, vertical and horizontal stabilizers are fully assembled of light-weight wood with the tissue applied. The horizontal stabilizer and wing have the correct airfoil camber built in, and the wing has the USA national insignia applied. There is a perfectly carved wooden propeller, metal rubber hook/propeller shaft, two fully finished wheels, other wood parts cut to size and ready to install. Even the original rubber bands used for installing sub-assembles together are present and still intact on the motor stick. The rubber band motor is present but very brittle and broken into many sections. There is an excellent set of front and back illustrated instructions that cover assembly, how to fly and adjust the aircraft and how to maintain it. Please note, this model must be shipped insured.

This model is from about 1955/56 and is part of Strombecker's incredibly famous science fiction series released with Disney's landmark 'Man in Space' movie series. This kit is a completely transparent model of the three stage rocket and satellite. Has colorful paper inserts that go on the inside of the parts to show the interior of the missile such as liquid and solid fuel tanks, fuel system, launcher details, etc. Features launch base, three separating stages and metal 'satellite'. The paper sheet is in excellent condition. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, color paper interior parts and instructions present.

Dated 1954. Rare, desirable and very collectible one-and-only issue of this classic early multi-media kit with a fantastic internal box presentation. Includes numerous plastic parts in red, gray, clear and black, four unopened glass bottle of Mono*Dope that are still good, an unopened tube of MonoGlue still in the original mint box, all prefabricated wooden parts including the amazing Monofoil wing, three sheets of die-cut and factory painted wood (intact and unpunched), colored die-cut cardstock sheet, sandpaper, gun barrel plastic material, decals in amazing 'excellent' condition, 'near mint' instruction book and full size plans. Inside, the kit is factory new. All of the factory cardboard presentation material is present and in amazing 'near mint++' condition. The kit has never been started. The small parts in the three lower trays are still factory tape sealed. All other pieces were never sealed and they have been carefully inventoried complete with all parts, paperwork, instructions, plans and decals. The box top is graded well above average as 'excellent.' It has superb color and gloss but moderate edge wear at the center top as shown, a light crease at the lower right, other general wear and a very small factory tape tear on thye upper long side measuring 1/2" by 1/4 inch. Amazingly, the celluloid plastic parts range from no warping to very slight warping. This is very rare, as that type of plastic was unstable and warped easily over time. Before injection molded plastic kits were common, Monogram issued the famous 'Speedee-Bilt' and 'Super Kits' which featured injection molded details and precarved wooden parts. Of these, the Speedee-Bilt B-24 and B-17 were the finest. These kits are very rare today due to their relatively high original price of $4.95 and the fact that plastic kits had just come to the US market a year before and were gaining market share very rapidly.
