Fresh from old hobby shop stock with a box in 'Excellent++' condition. Somehow this box even escaped the factory sealing tape machine, as it has no sealing tape and no typical stains from the tape. The color and gloss are perfect, as are the corners. The only thing keeping it from grading higher is slight sun fading to the right short side panel. Revell took the excellent original F-104 molds and made this new issue by adding four then-new AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles, ground missile trailer and ground crew. Molded in the correct correct gloss silver & clear and with the clear Revell Swivel Stand. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are both in 'near mint' condition with very slight yellowing being the only flaw.

Second issue from 1957. The original issue Jim Cox box artwork was retained and you can clearly see where the 1956 Northern Lights rectangular logo was positioned and is replaced by the yellow rectangle with the new Sunburst Famous Fighters logo. Earlier in the 1950s a company called 'Helicopters for Industry' created a line of large, early kits. In 1956 Aurora bought the molds and quickly reissued these models with new box artwork. Large kit features cockpit with instrument panel, control sticks and seats, spinning rotors and 'Army Mule' decals. Molded in the correct gloss olive drab and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Incredibly rare. This is among the earliest of the Aurora gift sets; please note the 1954/55 logo at the lower right and 'Famous Fighters Of The Sea' slogan. Inside are the three kits - Viking Ship, Black Falcon Pirate Ship and Chinese Junk. They are still in the original factory sealed bags. The paperwork is still factory sealed as well. It also includes the very rare set of Aurora 'Speed-Dry' Enamel paints which is still factory sealed. Please NOTE that the paint brush and glue are missing. Otherwise complete with all kits and paint still factory sealed. The box displays well but is graded 'good-' because edge wear, closed split corners, scuffs and general litho damage (mainly on top long side panel at the very bottom). I have correctly repaired the split corners from the inside with thin cardstock and book binding glue.

Very rare. First and only issue of this 1958 gift set with incredible box artwork. The box is in 'very good' condition with great color and gloss, only one closed split corner, no repairs, no fading or water stains, no tape or price tags or marks from either but plenty of typical light wear, edge wear and moderate corner wear as shown. All three kits are all very highly detailed with many working features. Inside, the kit has never been started and everything is as it left the factory. The correct internal cardboard dividers are present and in excellent condition. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed clear bags; the parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes all decals and all instructions. Very rare issue of this incredible kit. This Classic Cold-War model was originally designed and created by Adams. In the late 1950s, Adams closed down and sold Athearn the molds; Athearn then reissued the kits under the name SNAP. This was a short-lived arrangement. To boost sales, Athearn even approach Marusan in Japan where some were joint-issued as Marusan-SNAP kits. The molds were stored for quite some time then acquired by Life-Like much later. The Atomic Cannon was the Army's 20 mile range gun that could fire shells that contains small atomic bombs. The model is very highly detailed for that time and features transporters with movable wheels, towing yokes, fully detailed cab interiors & complete suspension, elevating and swiveling machine guns; the Atomic Cannon itself can be configured for firing or towing positions, the barrel elevates by real operating gears, the carriage rotates 360 degrees on platform and it actually fires 2 "Atomic" shells. Includes crew of 7. Inside, the model is factory new. It has never been started.. The parts that were factory sealed (in two bags) are still in those factory sealed bags; the parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. With decals and instructions. The decals are absolutely flat and in 'Excellent' condition with the typical yellowing as the only flaw. The instructions are in 'very good++' condition. The box is completely intact and 1005 present but is graded 'good-' because of moderate to significant wear as shown. The box sides are in the same condition as the top. The box tray is in the same condition - intact but 'good-' and includes the center cardboard divider. Please note that SNAP packed this model in a very large box- much larger than required. It makes for a great display of the incredible Adam's box artwork but does increase the shipping price. The amazing M65 280mm atomic cannon originally started life as a conventional artillery piece. Development first began in 1944 before the first atomic weapon had been tested. Far from being 'just another giant gun', the M65 was carefully designed to be a very mobile and versatile weapon. Liberal use of aluminum and other light-weight metals kept the weight of the gun and both transports to about 85 tons, which is not much more than the largest conventional gun of WWII. As a result, it is light enough to be carried by trucks and cross bridges without collapsing them. Size was also a major factor, as it can fit inside landing craft, turn street corners of an amazingly small radius and travel as fast at 35 mph. The two transporters are required to move the gun, with one in back and one in front. Power is supplied to each tractor by a 6 cylinder engine with 375 horsepower. Both transmissions are manually controlled. These 4x4 machines can push, pull or parallel one another - with the gun slung between them. The driver of the front tractor has control of the brakes and throttles of both units and can communicate to the rear driver by telephone. The gun can be traversed in a complete circle and has a range of up to 20 miles. A complete 280mm batter consisted of two guns, four 5-ton trucks towing ammunition trailers, another two trucks pulling a pair of generator trailers (each with a 30 KW generator to furnish power to the guns, a 5th truck carrying four shell carts and a 2 1/2 ton shop van. The total crew was about 100 men. Each gun could be set up to fire in less than 12 minutes and can fire a round every two minutes.

Very rare and 100% correct first issue from 1954 with the proper swastika box art and swastika decals. This one is even rarer as it is never started and complete. The model is molded in the correct gloss black and clear, with the rectangle-based clear stand, matching instructions, decals and even the original factory packing tissue paper. The decals are flat and in stunning 'excellent++' condition with the only flaw being slight age yellowing to the backing paper only. The instructions are 'near mint.' The box has very good color and gloss, four solid original corners (no repairs), no price tags or tag marks, no tape or tape marks (other than the thin factory sealing tape of course), no fading, stains or missing litho. Flaws include general wear & scuffing as shown and light corner wear. This kit has a fascinating history. The FW-190 was among the first (or was the first) kit made at the new West Hempstead factory in 1954. It immediately followed the famous "Brooklyn 8" (Aurora's first 8 aircraft kits). It was Aurora's first WWII aircraft kit to be originally issues with landing gear and bombs but still retains the small clear rectangle stand which was also shown on the instructions. This first issue shows the swastika on the box art and decals; however, Aurora quickly realized that they could not sell the kit in Europe. So they used an ink stamp to black out the offensive mark on the box top and initially cut it out of the decal sheet; however, they were quick to make a completely new decal sheet with the 'iron cross' replacing the swastika. These alterations are often called the 'second issue' although it carried the same part number and everything else was the same.

First issue 'S' kit dated 1958 that includes a factory-wrapped 4" long never used tube of colorful Revell 'S' Cement. The metal tube is in amazing 'near mint' condition and is not the usual small size issued with the early kits. As with most all Revell early ship kits, the model is finely molded and very well detailed. It measures about 15 inches long when assembled and features full detail on the top two decks, all cannons, complete deck fittings, prefabricated rat lines, vac sails, full standing and running rigging material, display stand and much more. The model has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, flags, sails, thread and instructions present. The sails are in remarkable 'near mint' condition. Also includes the excellent booklet 'The Story of Ships' and an order form for 'The Dawning Space Age' book. Please NOTE that the box is only 'good-' due to clear packing tape at the two lower corners and a closed corner split at the upper left; there is also general wear and scuffs. The anchor stocks of this kit have molded-on rings; more often than not, the rings are either short shot or broken off; this kit is no exception.

First issue dated 1968 of this legendary kit that has "A First In Modeling - Realistic Jet Sound!" It features 207 pieces, crew of three and cockpit, elevating and traversing rear turret, opening and closing bomb bay doors, operating wing flaps, operating spoilers, optional position entry hatch and landing gear, optional parts to display one nacelle open to show the jet engine and more. Molded in the correct green & clear plastic and with metal parts, wire and motor for jet sound. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts present. Includes decals and instructions. This model includes the rare yellow cardboard frame and clear cello of the original factory seal, and it is in very good condition. It does not include the white internal parts presentation cardboard and there is no 'Monoglue' cement. The latter is not usual as Monogram eventually stopped including it with this issue. The box is graded as 'very good+' condition because it has marker writing at the left side as shown and age discoloration on the long lower side panel (left portion).
