Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good+
$120
Rare. Very nicely molded smaller scale V-1 and V-2 with launcher and trailer. The V-2 can be displayed ready to launch or stowed for travel. The V-1 is molded in red, while the V-2 rocket is molded in white and the launcher/trailer in swirl brown. There is a clear stand for the V-1. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box displays slightly better than the 'good+' rating but is graded as such because there is a 1 x 1/2 inch tape tear on the long lower side.

Features a beautiful one-piece plastic hull, die-cut plywood and wood parts, complete metal and wood fittings set, illustrated instructions, full size plans and more. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions. The few parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. This model is a landmark in the history of Plastic Kits. The Varney Fleet Sub is the primary candidate for the first all-plastic ship kit made in the USA. The famous HO/O train manufacture, Varney, branched out into other scale model kits at the end of WWII. In late 1945, they introduced what are thought to be the first USA produced plastic model kits - the Fleet Sub and the PT-17 Stearman. Both kits were excellent scale models given the state of modeling at that time. However, Varney was 6 years too early. The Fleet Sub and PT-17 met a cool reception when it was introduced to retailers. Hobby Shops were not sure if it would sell, and did not know how to sell it. Consequently, most retailers would not order it and those who did put them where they were not seen by the public. Distributors stopped carrying the kits due to a lack of re-orders. The result was inevitable - they did not sell, and Varney pulled both kits from production very quickly. Varney was committed to cutting the molds on the LST and it was released in 1946 with the same result. That marked the end of Varney's venture into "non-train" scale plastic models. Varney dedicated all production to HO trains and in the late 1940s they sold the molds for the Fleet Sub, the LST and the PT-17 to O-Lin. The molds underwent modification (the hull was divided into two parts instead of one) and it was released by O-Lin and later Lindberg. This kit is a a very nice, never started and complete example. The box top grades 'good+' and has nice color as shown, general light stains and wear, three solid corners and one closed split corner. Three sides are as nice as the top, with one small piece of clear tape on both long sides. The right short side does have a 3/4" x 1/2" tape tear but is fine beside that . Inside, it is complete. The yellow parts display is intact and in 'good-' condition. The original krinkle small parts bag is present but split open; I have included the bag and all parts are inventoried complete. The original glue is present but the tube shattered; I have put it in a zip lock. The stand was glued to the yellow at the factory; the glue has come off. The factory glass rectangle for the stand arm is still present and in it's holder. The heavy one-piece molded hull is in rare crack-free condition and cradled into the holder. The base is in very good condition also. Very large instruction sheet is 'very good++' and folds out to illustrate construction and offers numerous display ideas for this new medium in hobby kits. Decals were not provided with the kit. This kit was made with gray injection molded details, glass stand arm and black injection molded stand and sub hull. I have seen versions with no paint on the base and hull; however, this one has the base and hull factory painted gray. The paint is in 'very good' condition on the hull and 'excellent' on the stand base. A rare example of a classic kit. Shipped with insurance only.

1956 first and only issue in very good condition. The box has excellent color and gloss, four solid corners with no repairs, no rips, no tears and no fading. It shows the typical stains from the factory 'gift set' ribbons that Revell shipped these kits with. Never started. All three aircraft are still in the original factory sealed clear plastic bags. All paper work and the famous Revell Swivel Stands are in the factory sealed bags as well. The correct center factory divider is still present in the tray (box bottom) and there is a small, unopened, factory wrapped tube of Revell "S" Cement included.

Rare. 1961 issue in the Whip Fly 'Master Modeler' series. Does include the Master Modeler Trading Stamp (for the Competition Corvette) and MM application form. This series was quickly discontinued when it discovered that heavily weighted models with pointed front ends swinging at terrific speeds around young children might not be safe. Based on the 1950s F-106 "S" kit, the Delta Dart Whip Fly comes with USAF decals, flight ballast, handle, 12 feet of control line, control ring, colorful streamers (cut from the colored bag according to the instructions) for the jet engines and a underside pod which is a in-flight whistle! Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Very, Very Rare. Early, colorful issue from the late 1950s. The kit is dated by the 'Sanwa Plastic' logo, which was normally used in the late 1950s up to 1960. Very nicely detailed for that time with fine (and sparse, not overdone) surface detail, opening bomb bay doors, working ailerons, elevators and rudder, rotating propellers and full landing gear. Molded in gloss dark green, black and clear. Includes factory glue tube. Inside, the model is factory new - all the parts and decals are still in the factory sealed clear bags. The decals are flat and in amazing 'near mint+' condition and the instructions in 'near mint' condition. Sanwa was one of Japan's earliest post-WWII kit producers, making model kits in the 1950s; some sources say 1955. Kits were marketed under Sanwa and Tokyo Plamo, with the general consensus being the the later logo came out around 1960 or later. Production ended in 1964, making all Sanwa kits rare and collectible. The entire line was extensive. It included very small scale tanks (some that were motorized), battleships in three scales with the larger ones motorized with dual prop drive, slot cars, civil sport boats and an electric outboard, a full line of hand gun models that actually shot plastic bullets, two fighter groups and bomber groups (probably Monogram), several different lines of scale aircraft, missile kits, scale (static) car models of early Japanese automobiles, at least 7 flying model aircraft that had electric and rubber motors, a 'Super Control Stand' P-51 that moved with a joystick and had an electric propeller and sound unit, two different lighthouses and a windmill, an air cushion boat, motor cycles, a diving submarine (electric) and a working (rubber band) George Washington Class SSBN and even a garden tractor with an electric motor. Just before going out of business, Sanwa issued some kits in conjunction with the 1964 Tokyo Olympic games - these kits even included a copy of an Olympic medal.

Very Rare. Early, colorful issue from the late 1950s. The kit is dated by the 'Sanwa Plastic' logo, which was normally used in the late 1950s up to 1960. Very nicely detailed for that time with raised (and sparse, not overdone) surface detail, opening bomb bay doors for fore and aft bomb bays, bomb load, working ailerons, wing flaps, elevators and rudder, rotating propellers and full landing gear. Molded in gloss silver, black and clear. Includes factory glue tube. Inside, the model is factory new - all the parts and decals are still in the factory sealed clear bags. The decals are flat and in 'Very good++' condition with yellowing being the only flaw and the instructions in 'very good+' condition with age foxing and slight yellowing as the only flaws. 1955 hardbox issue with the early Aurora rectangular logo, which was used from about 1953 to 1955. This rare, large scale model features working counter-rotating propellers and more. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good+
$164
Rare one-and-only 1960 issue that contains both the DH-4 and Curtis JN-4 Jenny. Aurora really went out of the way to make this a special kit; however, it did not sell well and was retired after one year. Features completely new box artwork, a DH-4 molded in gloss dark green and black, the JN-4 molded in gloss bright yellow and black, great custom decal sheets for both aircraft and special 'Barnstormer' instructions for each aircraft. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. Instructions are both in 'excellent+' condition and the decal sheets are both completely flat (no rolling) with typical age yellowing as the only flaw.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
$129
1954 issue of this classic kit. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear and with the famous clear 'Revelving Swivel Base.' The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: the box would grade higher than 'excellent' but there is a very, very light stain below the front of the aircraft. It is difficult to see. This kit has an interesting history. The first issue came out in the 'short' hardbox that had the full version of this artwork with a port and ocean scene in the background. The first version also had the one-piece stand arm and the instructions that reflected that. The second issue had the same artwork, but with a completely different background that gave better contrast. There may be a 'one-piece' stand arm version in this revised artwork, but I have yet to see one.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: NM

Rare and even more so in this condition. The box is in investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition with perfect color and gloss, no creases, no rips, fading or stains, no missing litho, no price tags or tag marks, four solid corners, no repairs and no tape or tape marks (other than the factory sealing tape, of course). The only flaws are several tiny spots of light wear. This 1958 "S" hardbox release is the only single issue of this kit. Features elevating missile trailer, four figures, movable fuel boom, fuel truck and trailer, launch pad/blast shield/missile supports, launcher base and more. Includes optional parts are decals for making the Thor-Able version. Molded in correct white and dark blue. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals are 'near mint' and perfectly flat, with the only flaw being slight yellowing. The instructions are also 'near mint' and almost completely white (very little yellowing).
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
$125
Original 'S' issue from 1958 with classic Revell box art. Full hull kit with very good detail for that time. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, a gun barrel. Otherwise complete with all other parts, decals, flag sheet and instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc+
$159
Very rare, original 1950s S Issue hardbox kit in excellent condition. Not the 1990s reissue. Very nicely detailed and molded for that time featuring moving cranes and guns, primary and secondary (AA) armament, detailed superstructure, complete deck fittings, hanger bay, detailed Martin PBM-5 Mariner Seaplane and more. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, color flag sheet and instructions present. Decals and instructions are both in remarkable 'excellent++' condition with typical age yellowing being the only significant flaw. The Norton Sound molds were modified to create this kit, making any reissue of the Norton Sound impossible.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc+
$189
Rare original issue hardbox from 1956. This is a nice model that was well detailed for that time featuring full hull (not waterline), detailed deck and superstructure, separately molded and moving main armament, Terrier missiles, launcher and directors and more. Never started and inventoried 1005 complete with all parts and includes decals, color flag sheet and instructions. The USS Boston, originally CA-69 (Baltimore Class Heavy Cruiser) was converted to the world's first Guided Missile Cruiser in 1952.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed NM+
$275
Still factory sealed and in remarkable investment-grade 'Near Mint+' condition. The seal is intact. 1969 hardbox issue. This kit was originally designed as a gas powered flying model. However, Aurora discontinued the gas powered line very shortly after introduction due to returns and liability issues. Since the mold investment was already made, Aurora marketed these kits as large scale static models and they became know as "Screwdriver Kits" to collectors. For example, the 1/32 scale B-25 was issued in Gas U-Control and then static - but the P-51 may have only been issued in static.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc+++
$279
Amazingly well detailed and certainly the finest plastic Pfalz kit available in any scale. Never started. All of the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the decal bag has been opened and the decals have been inventoried complete. Includes instructions.

Very light wear and edge wear are the only significant flaws. Aurora really went out of the way to make this a special kit; however, it did not sell well and was retired after one year.
