Still factory sealed. This Type 4 logo issue is from the late 1970s and is a well molded model. Features opening and closing clamshell nose cargo doors, good cockpit detail, crew of two, moving ailerons, elevator and rudder and front loading ramp. Superfreighter was an improved version of the Bristol Freighter. It was designed in 1952 and entered service in 1953 with Silver City Airways. Superfreighter's ease of maintenance, rugged design and ability to carry large loads made it immediately successful with the RAF and eight other air forces around the worlds, as well as with several airlines. Channel Air Bridge even operated a car ferry service across the channel.

1960 issue hardbox in the Famous Aircraft Series. The wonderful artwork by Bart Doe is borrowed from the "Famous Artist" series. This is the third issue of this kit; the first issue was the 'S' kit and the second was the "Famous Artists". Includes working wing flaps, centerline drop tank, 2 Bullpup missiles, two Bullpup wheeled trailers and a ground crew of three. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the decals are 100% intact and flat but have numerous age foxing stains on the backing sheet. The box top is graded 'good-' because it has significant, even wear and a light stain at the lower left corner.

Includes a large and colorful decal sheet with all red stripes and CCV markings. NOTE: this kit has very minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: (2) intake fences to both fuselage halves; control stick to cockpit floor. There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. 1999 reissue of the 1958 'Four Star' kit. Possibly the best kit ever injection molded of the first aircraft to sustain powered, controlled flight. Excellent detail and includes rigging instructions. Kit also features figures of Orville and Wilbur Wright, monorail launching track and carrier dolly and historical accessories-"C" clamp, bench, can, spade and starting battery that were all present at the first flight.

They are not recommended for beginners. Like most vacs, you will need a well-stocked spare parts box and scratch building skills.
