1969 Big A hardbox issue with an 'excellent' condition box. Hard to find 1/48 armor kit that has very good detail for that time. Hard-to-find model of the famous early four-engine turbojet civil executive transport. Before the Gulfstream Grumman GII, the Jetstar was one of very few luxury options for corporations with a global network. The C-140 was the USAF designation for the utility transport variant. Well molded with recessed detail. The clear canopy is included and in mint condition and not yellowed. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes plans/instructions. This is a basic vac kit; scratchbuilding skills required.

Rare true 1st issue with 'P' kit number, the text 'Four Star Plastikit' logo text and rubber tires. Dated 1955 and molded in high-gloss silver and clear with black rubber tires. P8s have been seen in this silver and also blue. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. This kit was a always a good seller and has an interesting history. The first 'P' issues (there were two) lasted for a year or two then were quickly replaced by the "PA" part number third issue. There was one (and probably 2) Blue Box issues with similar art but text variations. In the 1970s Monogram released it as a 'White Box' model.

Still factory sealed. 1973 'White Box' issue and possibly the best kit ever injection molded of the first aircraft to sustain powered, controlled flight. Excellent detail and includes rigging material and instructions. Also features figures of Orville and Wilbur Wright, monorail launching track and carrier dolly and historical accessories-"C" clamp, bench, can, spade and starting battery that were all present at the first flight.

Still factory sealed and dated 1966. Contains pre-colored Aeroskin fabric created to resemble the fabric covered aircraft of Captain A. Roy Brown, British fighter ace. No painting needed since all designs are printed on the fabric. You build the inner structure of the aircraft then cover it, similar to the construction of the actual aircraft.
