1998 issue that is known for it's excellent mold quality and superb accuracy. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Graf Zeppelin (LZ-127) was by far the world's most successful rigid airship. It flew from 1928 to 1937 and was operated by Hugo Eckener, the chairman of Luftshiffbau Zeppelin, the commercial airline. Graf Zeppelin make 590 flights of over 1.7 million km (over 1 million miles) - all of it without an accident. She made the first flight around the world by an airship, the first non-stop crossing of the Pacific Ocean by air, an arctic trip, passenger and mail service from Germany and Brazil and much more. Passengers enjoyed very luxurious cabins, superb meals and even in-flight telegram service through the 1kw on-board transmitter. The amazing 'Round-The-World Flight' in 1929 caused a sensation everywhere it went and newspapers reported the progress on an almost daily basis. Tickets were almost $3000 USD in 1929, which is about $56,000 in 1924. The later Hindenburg crash stopped almost all flights and the Graf Zeppelin was permanently withdrawn from service. However, he long-planned and completed successor, the Graf Zeppelin II (this kit) was simply awaiting helium. While Roosevelt was for giving the Germans helium for this airship, Harold Ickes, the Secretary of the Interior, was not and managed to stop it. The Graf Zeppelin II made 20 test, promotional, propaganda and military flight around Europe using hydrogen between September 1938 and August 1939; but it never entered commercial service. On March 4 1940, Goring ordered both the Graf Zeppelin and Graf Zeppelin II to be scrapped. It was the end of the commercial airship era.

1955 first issue hardbox with timeless 'S' box art. This series of models is considered the apex of model kit box art and it is easy to understand why they are so popular with collectors today. This was a nicely molded and detailed kit for that time and is molded the correct gloss silver and clear and includes the famous Swivel Base Display Stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

This rare kit dated 1958 and features a well detailed Thor missile, complete launching tower and ground crew of three. Molded in gloss white and medium gloss gray. Decals and instructions are in amazing 'near mint' condition. Never started and inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the box displays much better than the 'good+++' grade. It is graded as such because at the factory, workers used black paint to remove the price extension from the kit number. The lower short side panel is neatly done, but they used a little too much paint on the top short panel and there is a run.

1961 hardbox issue with frameable artwork that looks like it is on canvas thanks to the textured box top. This is a wonderful kit as it is the same molds as the 'S' issue, so it makes an ideal builder also. Features movable vertical fin and dive brakes, removable rocket engine, hinged landing skids and removable canopy. Please note that the fold out X-15 History and Flight profile brochure is included. This issue contains decals for Air Force / NASA and has optional parts for the 'blunt' nose or pitot probe nose. Never started. All parts and paperwork are still in the clear factory sealed bag. Literally the entire contents of the kit is still factory sealed inside.

Revell US Army Tactical Missiles Little John and Dart with Launchers - 'S' Issue, 1/40, H1812-98

First issue from 1958. The box is in superb 'Near Mint-' condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no price tags or tag marks, no tape or tape marks (other than the factory sealing tape), no fading and no litho tears. The only flaws are light surface wear (mainly on the sides) and edge wear. Molded in the correct white and olive drab plastic. Both models are well detailed. The Dart includes four missiles, one launcher, three stands, decals, one optical guidance unit and a crew of three. The Little John includes a detailed launcher with elevating rails, movable support legs, decals and crew of three. The kits have never been started. They have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Little John was a light-weight free-flight rocket that was highly mobile. It could be pulled on its launcher or transported by helicopter. Length was 12 feet long and the warhead was atomic. The Dart was a very early, five foot long wire-guided anti-tank missile with a solid propellant rocket motor. An optical rangefinder was used for guidance.

Rare and from 1956. This is the true first issue due to the 98 cent price extension on the part number. This gift set featured all four aircraft in the originally-molded vivid colors as well the R3C-1 with landing gear (shortly after this, the molds were modified to make it a floatplane). The Gee Bee is molded in bright gloss red, the Laird Solution in a gloss antique gold, the Ike in bright white and the R3C-1 in brilliant yellow. Inside, everything is just like it left the factory. The kits have not been started. All four are still sealed in the original stapled bags. Includes special one-piece instruction sheet and correct one-piece decal sheet.

Very rare. Large 1/12 scale kit with hundreds of parts. Features working front and rear suspension, semi-pneumatic rubber tires, steerable front wheels, super detailed engine with flexible ignition harnesses & drive belts and even a removable air cleaner element, detailed engine compartment, opening hood with realistic working hinges, complete driveline and exhaust, opening doors and trunk lid, full interior, front seats that hinge forward and much more. Molded in several colors of plastic, clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires and numerous metal parts. Never started. Inside, it is factory-new. All parts are still factory sealed in the clear plastic bags and the plastic blister packs. All of the colorful presentation cardboard is intact and in 'near mint' condition. With decals and illustrated instructions. The other cars in the Doyusha large 1/12 scale series were as follows: Mercedes Benz 450SLC, BMW 3.5CSL, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Lamborghini Countach LP500S, Porsche 911 Turbo, AMGG Mercedes Benz 450SLC, Pontiac Firebird TransAm, Honda S800 and this Mustang Mach I. The 'California Show Car' series (motto: "Just for the Fun of It") from the same time period was in 1/25 scale and featured the following wild full custom cars: The Pink Panther, Bathtub, The Invader, Milk Truck and Outhouse

Dated 1958 and in wonderful condition This is a very well detailed mini-diorama kit that features a detailed gun that elevates & has moving trails, molded base and sandbags, radio, shell casings, full shells, ammo box, crew of 5 G.I.s in action poses and more. Never started and the small parts are still in the small factory sealed bag; the parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. Thanks to Paul Houk, this is not the same kit as the Revell 105mm Howitzer. Although they have similarities, they are from completely different molds. The box would grade 'near mint' but is rated 'very good++' because of the light crushing visible at the top right corner.

Still factory sealed. This model is from all-new, state-of-the-art molds and beautifully detailed. Features all fine recessed panel lines, many brass photoetched parts, excellent cockpit, optional position canopy, detailed gear bays, very good intake and exhaust, optional position speed brakes with well detail, separately molded wing aileron and flaps, optional folded or flying outboard wings, separately molded rudder, AIM-7C Sparrow and AIM-9B Sidewinder loadout, drop tanks, a full color painting guide and decals for all four aircraft. The Demon was an early carrier based missile armed interceptor. The F3H-2 carried two early Sparrow and 2 Sidewinder missiles. The Demon was replaced in 1964 by the well known F-4H Phantom II.
