Limited issue injection molded kit with fine recessed panel detail, good cockpit with both crew stations and more. The clear canopy is in mint condition and perfectly clear (no yellowing. Includes a multi-view painting guide and decals for both aircraft listed. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The M6A1 Seiran was a late war submarine based float plane. The new I-400 class contained a large, water tight hanger and this aircraft was designed specifically for that space. The wings and tail folded to fit but the aircraft could be assembled in 7 minutes by a trained crew. To aid in night assembly, the critical parts were painted with florescent paint. The first planned attack was the Panama Canal, but this was cancelled in favor of Ulithi Atoll anchorage. The war ended before the attack could take place.

1955 2nd issue with great box art and the black rubber tires. The only difference is that this has the 'PA' suffix part number and the first issue has the 'P' suffix. This was Monogram's 8th plastic aircraft kit and sported the perfect fit and finish that Monogram was soon became famous for. Features rotating propellers, optional retracted or 'landing' position floats, two torpedoes and two crew members. Molded in medium blue and clear with the black rubber tires. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

1979 reissue of the famous 'S' kit. Features optional position clam-shell doors, detailed Pratt and Whitney R-1340 Wasp Engine, movable main and tail rotors, full cockpit and figures and can be built as the land version with wheels or float version. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) tiny part, the loop antenna. Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: decals are stuck to the clear bag. You may be able to remove them with heat but be prepared to provide your own decals just in case.

1970s Heller issue with 'Black Box' design that has black background on the box top and all 4 sides. Includes markings for the two aircraft listed. This kit has not been started. The box art a/c RW396, shown in the "high speed silver" scheme of the immediate postwar period, was a Central Gunnery School a/c, crashed andwritten off at West Skipton 1949.

From 1992. Features 78 pieces, very fine raised panel lines, 'good' cockpit detail, optional drop tanks, Radar Martel, T.V. Martel and Sea Eagle missiles, two piece canopy and an extensive paint guide and excellent decals for the two aircraft listed. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The Buccaneer was the world's first purpose designed low level 'below the radar' bomber. Low level strike aircraft have a shorter airframe life limit due to the stresses of low level flying, so the Buccaneer was designed to be very strong and even had many sub-assemblies milled from solid metal.

1972 'Big A' box issue. This large scale kit is almost 16 inches long when assembled; it is a fine model from Aurora's excellent efforts of the late 1960s to have their new kits be up to modern standards. The results were high mold quality and very good detail for that time. The I-19 is a full-hull model which features the Glen Seaplane with launcher & hanger, all main deck and AA guns, complete deck fittings, periscopes, DF antenna, cranes, full fore and aft diving planes, rear rudders and propellers and more. Includes a large display stand. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals, color flag sheet and instructions. The I-19 is famous for firing history's most successful torpedo spread off Guadalcanal. On September 14, 1942, the I-19 was patrolling of the Solomons when she fired a 6 torpedo spread. Three hit and sank the US Carrier CV-7 WASP, and the remaining three exploded against the BB North Carolina and the destroyer O'Brien. The destroyer sank and the North Carolina had to be repaired at Pearl till November 16, 1942. The I-19's Glen seaplane also flew night reconnaissance on February 23, 1942 over Pearl Harbor for the planned second attack by Emily flying boats on that base.
