Classic Cold War Airliner kit from the late 1960s or very early 1970s. Very large 1/100 scale kit of the world's first SST is molded in gloss ivory, clear, black & silver and with colorful Aeroflot decals. This impressive model that features optional position nose for visibility at high angle of attack approaches, clear cabin and cockpit windows, detailed landing gear and more. Includes a display stand and comprehensive & colorful decals. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Although the USSR manufacture Yunyj Tyechinik issued their own 1/100 Tu-144, KVZ created an entirely different set of (superior) molds for their release.

Rare in 100% complete and never started condition. This classic 24" long Cold War SSBN kit is from about 1960. Features a complete and detailed interior almost identical to the dramatic box art and the starboard hull half opens downward to display it. Features rotating propeller, working diving planes, rudders, periscopes, snorkels, actual 'launching' Polaris missile from a spring-loaded tube, two Polaris A-1 missiles, crew members and much more. Includes a display stand which conceals the hinge for the starboard hull half. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. There is bug damage to the decal backing paper only; the actual transfers have no damage. The box is only in 'good-' (not collectible) condition. It has fine color but significant general wear, especially on the corners and edges. There are two large litho tape pulls on both long sides and a closed split corner at the lower left side.

There is no choice; because I will not send decals to their probable destruction, shipping in a box is the only option.

Rare original hardbox issue from 1958; not the 1990s reissue. The classic 'Four Star' armor kits were easily considered the finest of their kind for decades. All were superbly molded and well detailed; this one features moving tracks, moving winch, elevating and swiveling machine gun, operating doors, full interior and 9 realistic figures. Molded in dark olive drab with a clear windshield and rubber tires and tracks. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Please note that the box has light pencil writing as shown at the top center, hence the 'very good' rating.

Dates from the late 1960s. This kit is part of Sterling's expensive big-wingspan series that was designed for R/C and also includes numerous extra parts for control line operation. Can also be flown free-flight. Very nicely produced stick-and-tissue model that features high quality die-cut balsa sheet parts, stripwood and spars, fully formed wire landing gear struts, finished wheels, other wood and metal stock as required, light plastic engine, cowl and other details, clear window material and template, rubber motor, plastic prop, a big set of decals, coving tissue and excellent full size plans with detailed instructions. Never started. The small parts (hardware, etc) are still factory sealed. All other parts have been inventoried complete including decals and plans. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling kits to be deluxe kits as they had the action features and included everything needed to complete the model.

Rare 1959 'S' issue in well above average condition overall. This full-hull kit has excellent detail, even by today's standards. Includes hull plating detail, full below the waterline detail, finely molded raised line 'planked' deck, complete deck fittings, many moving features such as rotating main turrets with elevating guns, other guns that rotate, moving rudder, davits that can be lowered and raised, railings on each level and includes a display stand as well. Molded in correct white, tan and dark brown plastics. The model has never been started. Carefully inventoried 100% complete with all plastic parts, black cord for the anchors,, decals, flag sheet, booklet 'The Story of Ships' and instructions. While the kit is complete with all parts, it suffers from what every Revell Olympia kit suffers from - broken railing stanchions on the hull.

This model kit is part of a very popular and successful 1/48 scale line of World War II kits that Monogram issued starting in the early 1960s.
