Still factory sealed and with an investment-grade condition 'Mint' box. Fresh from a one-owner collection and always in climate controlled storage. 1973 Monogram/Mattel release of the famous 'Four Star' kit. This issue still has the small Mattel logos on both long sides. This is one of a very famous series of 1/48 scale World War II aircraft that Monogram originally issued in the 1960s. Features wings that fold like on the real aircraft, two drop tanks, pilot and ground crew figures, rotating propeller & wheels and more. Molded in beautiful dark blue plastic and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Includes the following factory-sealed aftermarket sets: Eduard 48-214 1/48 BAe Sea Harrier FRS PE Detail Set (designed for the Airfix kit but has plenty of application here too) and AeroMaster 48-540 Sea Harrier Decals for four aircraft (Aeromaster recommends this Tamiya kit for this decal set). The actual kit is finely molded and features a good cockpit, pilot figure, optional position canopy, detailed jet engine with removable engine panel, linked rotating thrust nozzles, 30mm Aden gun pods, under-wing stores including 1000lb bombs, drop tanks, AIM-8 Sidewinders in three different load configurations and more. This large 1/48 scale model features over 75 pieces, a detailed ground trolley, full landing gear and wing tip outriggers, cockpit detail, external fuel tanks, simulated intelligence equipment, options to build your choice of camera bay windows and more. Includes paint guide and markings for all aircraft listed above; the NASA decals and paint are quite colorful and represent 'Earth Survey Aircraft no. 4'. Never started. It has been inventoried and the actual aircraft is complete but NOTE: missing both pilot figures. Complete with all other parts, decals and instructions present. NOTE: The tiebar is broken but both parts are present and fit back together perfectly. The U-2C was the variant the Francis Gary Powers was flying on the mission over Russia.

First issue of this kit dated 1955 with fantastic 'S' boxart by Richard Kishady. This was a superb model for that time and features detailed cockpit, two pilots, rotating main and tail rotors, detailed engine and optional position clam-shell nose doors, rescue winch, 'downed' pilot figure and more. Includes the clear Revell 'Globe' stand. Never started and inside is like new - the small parts are still in the factory sealed bag and the larger parts (that were never sealed) have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. The box hs great color and gloss. four perfect corners, no tape, tape marks (it somehow escaped the factory tape sealing machine), price tags or tag marks; it does have some edge wear along the top (mainly on the long side), a tiny bit at the upper left side and very slight corner wear.
