Very early LS kit dating from the start of the 1960s. Even at this early date, you can see why LS became legendary for quality. Features well molded parts with all fine recessed panel lines, decals for several aircraft, moving rudder, wing flaps and ailerons, choice of drop tank or bomb, sliding canopy, retracting landing gear and decals for a large number of aircraft. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Even the original glue is present. Please note, this box has closed tears and damage to the upper right. The fact that Hasegawa still uses some LS molds testifies to their detail and accuracy.

Rare. This is the narrow box version of the early 1960s 'Custom Car Parts' Bumpers and Grills. All parts are chrome plated and the instructions are on the reverse of the card. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts. The other issue was the same part number and title but packed in a card with a clear plastic blister-pack. Although these are not dated, I believe the blister-pack/card version to be the later issue.

During the golden era of realistic train models, La Belle Woodworking Company created perhaps the very finest scale kits of early American equipment. The kit features die cut hardwood parts (no balsa) such as pre-cut and scribed sides all cut to the correct size, car ends done in the same fashion, excellent underside and cast metal details, building instructions and plans and decals/transfers. I have seen these models built and they look identical to the real prototypes. The kit has not been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing both queenpost. Otherwise complete with all other parts, transfers and instructions accounted for. Very successful early Soviet helicopter that saw extensive service in the USSR, Warsaw Pact and Finland, China, Egypt and Syria. Production ended in 1965 after 17 years and over 2000 Mi-1s were built. Kit features fine recessed panel lines and decals for the three air forces listed. The kit has never been started. The parts are either inventoried 100% complete. Includes decals for all countries listed and instructions.

Britavia Models Westland Dragonfly H.R.3 - (HR3 S-51) - Bagged, 1/72

The Dragonfly was a license built version of the Sikorsky S-51. First flight was in 1946 and power was a Pratt & Whitney Wasp Jr. This is a high quality kit that is well molded. The main parts are molded in clear for realistic windows and are still in excellent condition (not yellowed). All the other parts are metal details such as nose wheel and strut, two main wheels and struts, rotor head, tail rotor, pilots seat, instrument panel, rear bench seat, tail rotor guard and winch. Has full decals for two aircraft including one stationed on HMS Bulwark in 1955. One set is for a dark sea grey aircraft and another with a lighter sky finish. Never started. The metal parts are still in the factory sealed bag and the other parts have been inventoried complete with decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed but the seal has splits and the right side of the seal is missing as shonw. Classic Cold War kit in large 1/40 scale. I have listed this as a Krugozor ('Horizon') release as it has their logo and name on a short side and appears to be dated 1975, which would align with Krugozor production. Krugozor (or MFDI) took over Yunyj Tyechinik production in the mid 1970s and production continued till 1993. Yunyj Tyechinik orignally succeeded MZMPI, which was the first kit manufacture in the USSR.

Nicely molded, larger scale model from the late 1950s or early 1960s. Never started. The small parts are still in the internal factory sealed bag, and the larger parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. Lincoln was based in Hong Kong. Plastic kits were not the primary business, but they established quite a line of them before discontinuing production in the late 1960s/early 1970s. Many molds moved to Kader, also in Hong Kong, who reissued the line. Many molds eventually found their way to the USA either through ATP (who purchased the excess kit stock when Kader sold out) or IM.

Rare. Early to mid 1960s 'Custom Car Parts' issue in a very narrow box with a header for hanging. All parts are chrome plated. Never used and complete with all parts and instructions (on the back of the box). Please note this is the 'black background' issue of this kit. Another issue had the parts against a yellow background.

KVZ was the logo used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Aeroflot Airliners and Military Helicopters and Aircraft. Comes with colorful markings for DDR, Polish, Russian and Czech versions. Molded in silver, black and clear and with original clay nose weight and factory glue. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
