Limited issue from 1989 and still considered the finest 1/72 F-104 model ever made. From new molds with all very fine recessed panel lines, very nicely detailed cockpit and gear wells, optional position canopy, four drop tanks and a very large and colorful decal sheet for 12 different aircraft, including the 20th Anniversary of 204 Squadron. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. Has markings for either version. A very well made model of one of the greatest aircraft in aviation history. Wiley Post, Amelia Earhart, Hearst, USAAF and the RAF were among it's record setting pilots and operators. Kit features full cockpit and complete passenger cabin with floor and seats, optional wheel pants and other optional parts and decals with paint guide for the two aircraft listed. The Shell aircraft is a very colorful bright yellow overall with red trim.

During the golden era of realistic train models, La Belle Woodworking Company created perhaps the very finest scale kits of early American passenger equipment. The kit features die cut hardwood parts (no balsa), carved floor and roof, underside details and truss rods, metal details, building instructions, full decals and full size plans. I have built these models and they look identical to the real prototypes. The kit has not been started and is complete with all parts, sealed smaller details and plans + instructions. 1960 issue of the rare 'Whip Fly' series. Hardbox artwork for this series was 'action' photos by Tom Kelly. Whip-Fly kits contain the aircraft model with nose ballast, a metal control ring, 12 feet of control line and a control handle so that you could spin the aircraft around in circles. This kit has never been started. It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

From Aoshima molds. Features working ailerons, crew of two and beaching stand. Molded in medium blue and clear. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Farpro existed for a short time in the late 1960s. All the kits were all made in Japan by Aoshima but specifically for US distribution. Some kits had provision for motorization and some did not.

From the 1950s. Rare kit for the advanced Hawk collector. Still factory sealed but the header panel is in 'good' condition. I have shown the best side; the reverse has a price tag tear. This kit was 'Made in the British Empire by Lincoln International.' Lincoln was an injection molding firm that issued models as a side-line. Kits were made in Great Britain, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand and sold in many more countries. They reissued at least 13 Hawk kits. I have dated these late 1950s because the R3C-1 Army Racer (also released in this series) still has wheels. Later issues had floats.

From very high quality ex-Heller kits. Cleanly molded with no flash. Soviet Union release. Full hull kit with excellent detail. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing part #22, a bridge piece that is solid, smooth, about .5 inches high and 1.3 cm high and shaped like half of an ellipse. This part can be made by a skilled modeler. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts and instructions.

Original hardbox issue with a copyright date of 1965 (not a 1990s reissue). The 'Pacific Raiders' issue uses the same molds as the 1954 'S' kit. All three 'Raiders' (b-25, B-29 and B-24) sported new box artwork and featured WWII Pacific Theater colors and markings. This B-25 features crew members, turret blocking plate to model Doolittle's Tokyo Raiders, pilot and co-pilot figures, detailed landing gear, rotating propellers and more. Molded in gloss olive drab and clear. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

1953 early issue molded in white plastic and it includes colorful decals for the van sides for the 'Gowland's Bakery'. This kit has never been started. All parts are still factory sealed in the original 'krinkle' bag and it is complete with decals and instructions. Before the 1950s 'model building' never made the top 10 list of boy's activities. Hobbies were nothing new to America in the 1930s/40s, but they were not mainstream. Shortly after the turn of the century, many dedicated modelers built flying or static airplanes, ship, train, automotive or other subjects. Basic kits existed, but the majority of these models were built from scratch, which demanded a high talent level developed from years of experience. That changed in the early 1950s. The phenomenon of the Revell/Gowland & Gowland 'Highway Pioneers' car kits was a significant force in proving that model building as a hobby could have mass appeal, provided that the kits were easy enough to build and finish. These 1/32 scale vehicles could be built in an hour after dinner and looked much like the real car. The Highway Pioneers series lead to the production of other subjects in plastic and the effect was revolutionary. By the early 1960s, model building was the #1 past time of American boys.
