Still factory sealed and in remarkable investment-grade 'Near Mint+' condition. The seal is intact. 1969 hardbox issue. This kit was originally designed as a gas powered flying model. However, Aurora discontinued the gas powered line very shortly after introduction due to returns and liability issues. Since the mold investment was already made, Aurora marketed these kits as large scale static models and they became know as "Screwdriver Kits" to collectors. For example, the 1/32 scale B-25 was issued in Gas U-Control and then static - but the P-51 may have only been issued in static.

Very rare one and only issue from 1961 that is in investment-grade "Near Mint" condition. This special issue of the Dodgers Team Aircraft was made by Revell just for the LA Dodgers concessions dealer 'Danny Goodman'. I purchased this kit along with the Revell factory shipping carton. This carton was originally sold to Union 76 Service Station #3459, located at 12080 Ventura Blvd in Studio City California. The case was shipped directly from Revell in Los Angeles to the Union Oil Station; the gas station owner's son confirmed this as does the address on the box; somehow Danny Goodman was bypassed in the transaction. The kit is fresh from the original shipping carton with no more wear than you would expect. The box is in amazing 'near mint' condition and the only flaws are some yellowing and light wear on the paper label. Inside, the kit is factory new. All parts, decals and instructions are still sealed in the Revell factory bag. The kit includes a wonderful photo of the 1963 Dodgers - World's Champions!

Rare very, large and well detailed scale model of one of the earliest Ships-Of-The-Line to be equipped with screw propulsion. Full hull model measures 735mm (28.9 inches) long when assembled and features roughly 300 or more pieces, all deck fittings and houses, ships boats, individually molded cannon barrels and gun port doors, superb pre-molded rat lines, net material for the bow, rigging material and much more. Still factory sealed and from 1966. This is a very unusual and short-lived issue with the new four digit part number and a price extension of 150. This was soon dropped. There are other differences as well - please note the unique logo on the box top, and there are very small Mattel logos on both short sides. Later Monogram/Mattel issues had another logo on the box top. This is a reissue of the Four Star kit and has many action features: wings fold properly as on the real aircraft, landing gear retracts, bomb bay doors open and torpedo drops, machine gun rotates and elevates, and the prop and wheels turn. Includes four airmen.

Very rare and even more so in this condition, never started and factory-new inside. The model is nearly 2.5 feet tall when built and can be made as an accurate static or flying model. Never started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including 'excellent++' condition decals and instructions. The body tubes are all 'near mint' and not crushed or damaged.

From 1973. This large, 1/48 scale) model features a full, one-piece hull, dual propellers & rudder, detailed deck fittings, clear cabin windows, elevating .50 caliber machine guns, working gun ring, 81mm mortar, life raft, railings and more. Includes one figure, display base and decals. The decals are for US Navy Squadron 101. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Swift Boats were shallow-draft, high-speed boats of all aluminum construction and powered by a matched pair of V-12 Detroit Diesels. Their primary function in Viet Nam was coastal surveillance. They were equipped with radar, radio and several searchlights, along with bunks, refrigerator, stove and head. They were capable of 25 knots and required only 4 feet of water to operate in. In some operations Swifts teamed up with Destroyer Escorts (DEs) thus extending their rand and capabilities using the DEs as mobile bases carrying spare crew, fuel and other supplies for the Swifts. In this way the Swifts could operate in coastal waters too shallow for the larger vessels then run in for a pit stop, ready to charge again with a fresh crew, fuel and supplies. Monogram designed this kit from official information and drawings from Sewart Seacraft, Inc and the US navy.
