Rare early issue and may be the first release. This famous model is highly detailed with hundreds of parts features a full rolling chassis build just like the real truck, detailed engine, full interior, extending ladder and much more. Molded in white, silver, chrome plate, clear and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. The bags that AMT factory sealed are still factory sealed; the parts that were never factory sealed (chrome and clear) have been inventoried and NOTE: missing one small part, 'clamp' for the plate pivot (this is a flat part shaped like a "C", so it can be made (the other 7 are present to use as a pattern). Otherwise inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions.

Very Rare. Early, colorful issue from the late 1950s. The kit is dated by the 'Sanwa Plastic' logo, which was normally used in the late 1950s up to 1960. Very nicely detailed for that time with fine surface detail, optional 'closed' or 'open' rear dual cargo doors, moving ailerons, rotating props, optional opened or closed crew boarding stairs/door and colorful decals. Molded in gloss silver, black and clear. includes factory glue tube. Inside, the model is factory new - all the parts and decals are still in the factory sealed clear bags. The decals are flat and 'excellent' with slight yellowing as the only flaw and the instructions in 'near mint' condition. Sanwa was one of Japan's earliest post-WWII kit producers, making model kits in the 1950s; some sources say 1955. Kits were marketed under Sanwa and Tokyo Plamo, with the general consensus being the the later logo came out around 1960 or later. Production ended in 1964, making all Sanwa kits rare and collectible. The entire line was extensive. It included very small scale tanks (some that were motorized), battleships in three scales with the larger ones motorized with dual prop drive, slot cars, civil sport boats and an electric outboard, a full line of hand gun models that actually shot plastic bullets, two fighter groups and bomber groups (probably Monogram), several different lines of scale aircraft, missile kits, scale (static) car models of early Japanese automobiles, at least 7 flying model aircraft that had electric and rubber motors, a 'Super Control Stand' P-51 that moved with a joystick and had an electric propeller and sound unit, two different lighthouses and a windmill, an air cushion boat, motor cycles, a diving submarine (electric) and a working (rubber band) George Washington Class SSBN and even a garden tractor with an electric motor. Just before going out of business, Sanwa issued some kits in conjunction with the 1964 Tokyo Olympic games - these kits even included a copy of an Olympic medal.

Rare large 1/32 scale wood, metal and plastic kit from the early 1950s before all-plastic kits were wide-spread. Features pre-carved wood fuselage, 2-D cut wooden wings, horizontal and vertical fins, clear plastic vac canopy (that is in 'excellent' condition), metal intake and pilot bust, plastic wing fences, gear doors, nose and main wheels, complete decals and full size plans with instructions and aircraft history. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) nose gear door. Easily made as it is flat and you can use the present door as a template. Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes decals and instructions. Other aircraft in this unusual line included F-51 Mustang, F-80 Shooting Star, F-84 Thunderjet, F9F Panther, F-86 Sabre and this Mig-15. Enterprise was founded after World War II by Jerry Brofman. By 1952 Mr. Brofman was only 26 years old and had a large line of kits and high annual sales. In that same year he was asked about the future for the new hobby industry and was quoted as saying "It's not easy- you need lots of know-how and lots of experience, but if you stick to it, you can succeed."

Very rare. This is a solid wood model kit from the 1940s. It features two sheets of printwood, blocks and balsa stock, sandpaper, high quality 3 view plans with templates and some text instructions. Never used and complete. Supreme Scale Models were made by the Steve Patti Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In the pre-plastic days they produced an extensive line of solid scale models and a large number of flying stick-and-tissue models as well; they were called 'Supreme Flyers.'

A very rare kit from about 1941/42. This model is 'Identical to the one used in the Model Building Program of the US Office of Education sponsored by the US Navy, Bureau of Aeronautics' which was a program launched in 1941. During WWII the higher speed of aircraft made the traditional WW1 'recognition cards' nearly useless and 3D models were needed. The US Armed Forces looked to the general population to produce recognition models. While not fully successful due to irregular quality and supply, it quickly paved the way for superior injection molded recognition models. This kit features wood blocks, sheets and stock, glue, sandpaper, an excellent, very thick paper template, outline & gauge sheet as well as fold-out full size plans with aircraft history and detailed carving and building instructions. Never started and complete. Although misidentified, the "Sento Ki-001" is a single-engine, low wing monoplane (that is not a Zero). The large right end flap on the box has fallen off and is inside the box. The left one, with the name of the kit, is present. The box is only 'good-'.

Maircraft was originally founded in the early or mid 1930s by Gordon Christoph and went by the name Aircraft Model Company. The company produced a typical line of solid 'profile cut' kits that required the usual high talent levels for carving and finishing. A former Comet Model Airplane & Supply Co. salesman, Jack Mair, bought the company in the early 1940s and renamed it Maircraft. This company was one of the handful of solid kit producers who issued models in a consistent 1/48 scale during the 1930s and 1940s (others included Hawk and Dyna-Model). This lead to one of the most desirable and rare model kits ever produced in the USA - the wood/plastic 1/48 United DC-3 model issued immediately after World War 2. Other than the P-61 and a few other Maircraft offerings, most were simple kits that sold for the low price of about 35 cents and gave the owners many hours of pleasurable work. This kit features a full size plan with instructions steps, fuselage that is about 3D (~80%) cut, profile cut parts, printwood, color insignia and a small sealed envelope of details. The model has not been started and is complete with all parts and plans.

Still factory sealed. Nicely detailed with very fine recessed panel lines, good cockpit and more. Flagon M was a modification of a standard Su-15 with R13-300 engines and the new 'Typhoon M' radar. Wings and landing gear were also changed. The tests took place in 1969 and were very successful; the type became one of the main fighter-interceptors in the 1970s/80s.

Rare and especially in this condition, still in the factory sealed bag. This large scale, inflatable Gulf Oil blimp is made from flexible vinyl and includes a metal hook and twine for handing from a ceiling or light fixture. When inflated, it has four fins and very nice gondola. Many companies had their logo and name put on these toys and I remember having a great deal of fun with them in the early 1970s.

Rare kit from 1942. This is a scale solid wood kit with an 11 inch wingspan. The scale is given on the plans as 5/16" = 1'. It features balsa wood blocks and sheet as required, very thick and heavy printed cardstock parts, color insignia and full size plans with templates & construction notes. This is a typical kit from this era that requires serious carving and shaping skills. Complete and never started. NOTE: the plans have some bug damage. The plans are still usable but the damage is significant. The Seversky 2PA is the two-seat version of the single seat P-35 model manufactured by the Seversky Company, which was later reformed under the name Republic Aviation. In 1935-39, Seversky sold 20 of the aircraft to Japan. The Japanese Navy designated as these as ASV-1 s. Later, Sweden ordered 52 which carried the designation B6.In June 1940, the United States government ordered an embargo on the sale of U.S. made aircraft to all foreign countries except Britain. Sweden had received two aircraft of their order, and the remaining 50 were sold to the United States Army Air Corps and designated the AT-12 Guardsman. It is unlikely that any AT-12 served as an advanced trainer, however, as most were allocated during World War 2 to USAAC base commanding officers as fast transport aircraft. Marvel was a popular manufacture with a large line of army vehicles, tanks of all nations, aircraft and more.

For the advanced model collector and from 1945. Hawk was one of the few manufacturers making wooden kits to a constant scale of 1/48 in the 1930s. Hawk kits were considered high quality and very complete for that time and often included metal or plastic details. very complete and included metal details and superb quality drawings for the true scale enthusiast. The side of this box shows photos of 6 other built-up Hawk aircraft kits and gives a rare look at the product line. The model features a 2D cut fuselage, wings & tails, turned and completely finished hardwood cowling, plastic three blade propeller, fully finished wooden wheels, metal seat, clear vacuform plastic canopy (in excellent condition and not yellowed), wooden stock as needed, color decal sheet, a special heavy cardstock template sheet, sandpaper, special metal display stand and excellent, well-detailed plans. The model has not been started and is complete. NOTE: the box is water damaged and so are the plans and template sheet; both are still completely usable but no longer in 'collectible' condition.
