This box contains a set of 33" long floats that are completely assembled and ready to mount (not a kit). They will attach to any conventional landing gear or you can assembly your own strut assembly to attach them to. These floats work equally well in water or snow and can be attached and removed in less than 3 minutes; includes mounting bolts and spreader bars. Made from a very lightweight (and hollow) plastic, they are strong & durable and will not puncture in a ground landing. The plastic is paintable. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bag; the larger parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete and includes all paperwork. NOTE: this kit came in a very sturdy and thick cardboard box. It will ship in that box wrapped in thick brown paper. 1955 'S' first issue with the fantastic box art that has made these kits so popular today. Very well molded for the time in silver and clear. This model features pilot figure, optional position cabin door, rotating propellers and wheels, optional position landing gear, passenger boarding stairs, full color Swissair decals and Revell 'globe' base swivel stand. The instructions have a Swissair route map and a large photo of a Swissair crew in the cockpit of the DC-7. The kit has never been started. Of the many thousands of his kits that I did inventory, 95+% are complete. But on these kits he cut the sprue (trees) with the part numbers still attached to each number, so the parts are loose. Because of that, I have not inventoried these kits. NOTE: he often built minor sub assemblies (cockpit tubs, wing halves, etc) to 'professional' quality. Again, these kits are sold not inventoried and AS IS hence the very low price.

Rare and still factory sealed. This AHM release is from the original Crown molds that would make it 1/50 scale; Burn guide lists the mold origins as unknown and lists it as 1/48. Crown made a very good line of motorized tanks and AHM reissued many of them. Associated Hobby Manufactures was an American company that did not cut it's own molds but sourced model kits from around the world through the 1960s and probably into the 1970s as well.
