Long hardbox issue dated 1966 and in remarkable, investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. The only flaw is very light wear, almost completely restricted to the edges. In those days, it was said by reviewers that Aurora made the best tank kits - this one is no exception. Features all moving bogies and drive wheels, flexible black treads, elevating main gun, rotating turret, one tankman, three soldiers and decals. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are both in 'near mint' condition as well.

This model is in an amazing, investment-grade 'Near Mint+' box. It is dated 1957, but from the mid 1960s due to the oval logo with the blue outline. This small scale kit with dramatic Jo Kotula box artwork is nicely molded with clear canopy, full landing gear and a display stand. This is a model of the very early YF-102 prototype with the straight (non-area rule) fuselage. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Around this time, Aurora issued a series of inexpensive (usually 29 cent) small scale kits that were designed to sell at almost any type of retail location. The line was very successful and quickly expanded. When Aurora purchased the Comet molds, those kits fit in nicely with this established line.

Very rare. This excellent limited edition model features main airframe parts in professional-grade resin castings, fine white metal details, excellent full cockpit, clear canopy that is in perfect condition (perfectly clear and no yellowing), optional landing skids and more. The Tsybin RSR (Reactivnyy Strategicheskiy Razvedchik, Russian for "jet strategic reconnaissance") was a Soviet design for an advanced, long-range, Mach 3 strategic reconnaissance aircraft. A simplified, full-sized aerodynamic prototype for the novel layout, the NM-1 was built in 1957. Intended for low-speed handling tests, the NM-1 had a steel-tube fuselage with duraluminium and plywood skinning.[4] This aircraft, powered by two Mikulin AM-5 turbojets first flew on 7 April 1959.[3] Based on the results of these trials, the RSR was redesigned (as the R-020) to make it more maneuvrable at high altitude (it was proposed to carry out barrel rolls to avoid surface-to-air missiles). More conventional Tumansky R-11 turbojets (the engine used in the MiG-21) replaced the unavailable Soloviev turbofans. Five R-020 airframes were virtually complete, only awaiting engines by April 1961, with another 10 planned, when Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev canceled the program.
