Dated 1967 with John Andrews artwork. Very nicely detailed and features over 60 pieces, very good cockpit and rear crew station, pilot and observer figures opening canopy, detailed engine and optional bomb load. There is no assembly but NOTE: the interior of one fuselage half is painted the cockpit color. There is no other painting. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the right fuselage is another color of plastic; it is from an earlier issue of this same kit. The windshield has clear tape on it in preparation for masking it off. The ideal cleaner to remove tape residue from plastic model parts is Novus Plastic Polish, which is available on line.

1953/54 Pre 'S' issue with fantastic box artwork. Very nicely done kit molded in gloss silver and clear with the 'Revelving' swivel globe base. The instructions fold out to show a large route map for American Airlines on the back. Molded in gloss silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts decals and instructions present. The box is only 'fair++' with heavy creases as shown and general wear.

This model dates from when Fujimi made the finest models in the world. Pre 'S' first issue dated 1955, which is considered the 'Golden Age' of box artwork. Inside, this well-molded model features fine surface detail, rotating wheels, cockpit & pilot and more. Includes the famous 'Revelving' clear globe stand. Molded in gloss silver and clear. Never started. It has been inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions. The decals are flat, only have the slightest bit of yellow and are 100% intact but NOTE: there is bug damage to the backing paper only, especially along the bottom edge. There is no damage to the actual transfers.

1954 issue of this classic kit. This is the second Pre 'S' release. Note that the artwork is a modified version of the first release. Inside, the kit is exactly as it left the factory. The small parts are still factory sealed in the small clear bag; the large parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. The box top would grade higher than 'very good++' but is rated as such because of a very light scuff just above the cockpit canopy and creasing in the lower part of the 'Revell' logo at the lower left.

Fujimi IJN Hosho - Japan's First Aircraft Carrier, 1/700, 43083

This model kit is from 1994. Hosho was the world's first purpose-designed aircraft carrier. However, she was foreseen as a testbed only so was not able to take part in any fleet actions. However, the design was a success and the lessons learned went into the next several classes of IJN Fleet-Size Aircraft Carriers. This waterline kit represent Hosho in her original configuration with the small island and funnels that rotate down. The model is very well detailed, finely molded and even includes a biplane air group with aircraft decals. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

This model features Monogram's excellent F8F and P-51B kits molded in Racing Blue and Bright Red, special racing decals, and a large-scale, heavy cardstock red/white checkerboard 3-D pylon with special stand arms for a 'in flight' display of both aircraft rounding the turn. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please note that while the box has stains as shown from moisture damage, the decals have no stains and are in 'excellent++' condition. The cardstock pylon is in 'near mint' condition with no stains.
