Rare kit from 1959 that is in 'excellent' condition inside and out. This is a fine model molded in dark blue, light blue, white & black and features a very nice chassis with detailed engine, tilt-forward cab with horn and side view mirrors, interior, driver figure, rolling wheels, trailer that disconnected from the tractor, opening rear trailer doors and a furniture load consisting of a table, piano, fridge, two seats and a sofa. From about 1967. In addition to cars, ships, planes and figures, Pyro had an excellent line of well (and not-so-well) known life-sized scale pistol and rifle models in their line. In each case Pyro gained access to the actual weapon during the kit design, insuring a very accurate model. This is a full size model is based on the copy in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing internal metal spring for trigger, (2) #18 dummy screws (easily replaced) and #12, the flint. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts including instructions.

This is a very good model of this attractive early Soviet supersonic reconnaissance platform. The first "R" was built in 1958 on the basis of the experimental aircraft Yak-122. 180 aircraft were built and the first public showing was at a fly-past in Tushino in 1961. this 1980s issue is from quality Airfix molds. The Devonshire was launched on June 10, 1960 and was the Royal Navy's first guided missile destroyer. The model features Seaslug and Seacat missile systems, full hull, propeller and rudder detail, very good superstructure and much more. Never started. Factory sealed bag with decals and instructions. The box would grade slightly better than 'Good-' but a previous owner cut the promotional tokens from the lower long box side.
