1960s issue hardbox issue that is molded in dark green with the small parts in black plastic. This issue includes the ground mechanic and small ground base with chocks. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. This is part of the famous Aurora WWI series of 1/48 scale aircraft. The series began in 1956 and Aurora added new kits into the early 1960s. The line proved incredibly popular, so these kits were included in the 'mold upgrade' in the 1970s before Aurora went out of business.

1972 issue of this beautiful and accurate kit. The 540K was produced from 1937 to 1939 by Daimler-Benz and was priced at about $11,000 - a King's ransom at that time. The supercharger boosted horsepower to 180 and the car traveled easily at 105 mph. Features rolling chassis detail, complete engine & engine compartment, removable hood, detailed interior, removable soft top or boot and much.
