1954 Pre-S issue. The box is solid and has excellent color and gloss but has the white tape residue as shown. The kit has never been started. Inside is is exactly as if left the factory; all small parts are still in the factory sealed bag, while the large parts have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are in 'excellent++' condition with very light yellowing as the only flaw. This kit has a fascinating history The first issue was in the simple and thin one-piece box and Revell quickly converted to this two-piece box as it was much more durable and a full-color lithographed 'slick' could be used. For the second issue, Revell added rivet and raised panel line detail as well as landing gear, a two piece box and H210-79 kit number. The famous 'Globe' clear stand was added, but in this issue it had the rare one piece stand arm and the instructions reflected that. Revell quickly realized that the one-piece arm was not strong enough, and quickly modified it to the familiar three piece arm for the 3rd (this) issue. The kit went on to be reissued several more times with different box art and even Revell of Germany and England had European issues as well.

1954 Pre-'S' release and among Revell's very earliest ship models. This issue is the 'all gun' version of the Fletcher with the maximum main armament; Revell soon modified the molds to represent the later ships of the class. The beautiful boxart has wear as shown. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and it includes all plastic parts, color flag sheet and instructions. NOTE: the small 'Parts Order Form' has been cut from the instructions. Very well detailed with 107 pieces and features very good chassis detail, full suspension, complete interior, male and female driver and passenger figures and much more. NOTE: parts #25 and #32 are broken; these are front fender support rods. All pieces are present so you can repair them.

Beautifully cast in high-definition resin. Features good cockpit, optional position landing gear, drop tanks and more. The Mig-19 (J-6) was the first successful jet aircraft built in Communist China, so it was no surprise when it served as the basis of a new strike/attack aircraft. The Chinese stretched the fuselage of the J-6 and repositioned the intakes to the cockpit sides, giving the aircraft a pointed nose. By early 1988 some 600 Q-5s were in service in China. North Korea received an significant number of them, but the first hard-currency customer was Pakistan, who at one point operated about 150 'Fantans.'

1963 hardbox issue of the rare 'Whip Fly' series. the artwork for this series was 'action' photos by Tom Kelly. Whip-Fly kits feature the 1950s 'S' issue aircraft model with nose ballast, a metal control ring, 12 feet of control line and a control handle. Never started and the parts and all paperwork are still in the internal factory sealed bags. Literally all of the contents are factory sealed. The short-lived Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. It was quickly discontinued when Revell discovered that heavily weighted models with sharply pointed noses traveling at 50 or 60 MPH might not be safe.

But on these kits he cut the sprue (trees) with the part numbers still attached to each number, so the parts are loose. Because of that, I have not inventoried these kits. NOTE: he built minor sub assemblies (cockpit tubs, wing halves, etc) to 'professional' quality. He also almost always removed the display stands (if provided). Again, these kits are sold not inventoried and AS IS hence the very low price.

Hard-to-find Soviet Tri-Jet design in Cold War Aeroflot markings. The box is in in 'excellent' condition which is rare. Features large colorful decal sheet and good overall surface detail. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. KVZ was the name used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Airliners and Military Helicopters and Aircraft.

The entire airframe is built of quality balsa and lite ply and covered with premium iron-on covering material. Includes comprehensive hardware, formed wire landing gear, wheels and much more. NOTE: this kit came in a very sturdy and thick cardboard box. It will ship in that box wrapped in thick brown paper. This is the 1968 release of this kit, which may have only been issued twice. The Boeing SST was modeled here in the second (-200) variant which still had the swing-wing design which proved impractical in this aircraft. The damaging effects of sonic booms over population centers ultimately contributed to the cancellation of the project. Nicely molded with all recessed panel lines. The kit has wings that swing, United Airlines decals and a unique display stand. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
