Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Exc+++
$165
Still factory sealed and in a 'Excellent+++' box. The seal has two small splits and is missing a section on the left short side. The box certainly displays 'Near Mint+' but is graded lower because there is a small, short puncture near the bottom of the top long side. This is the rare 1960s issue retaining the same artwork as the 1956 issue. This kit has arguably the most dramatic and fanciful B-29 artwork from the 'Golden Era' of modeling. Responding to market information that boys wanted larger kits, Aurora introduced the B-26 followed by the B-29 and B-25, all of which sold well for many years. This is likely the 5th issue and the final one with the original artwork (I believe the 6th issue is the 'AURORA' logo issue with the red/orange sky). Note here that the rectangle 'Northern Lights' logo has been replaced with the Aurora sunburst oval logo, hence the yellow background.

Still factory sealed and rare. This is NOS (New Old Stock) from a hobby shop that closed down in about 1994; you would be the first owner of this model. This very unique design has landing gear and is also an seaplane...or it can take off and land on snow! This model can do every maneuver that a conventional model can do except spin. It will also do one maneuver that conventional models do not do - a controlled vertical descent. Features full size plans, fully formed landing gear, die-cut balsa parts, premium quality hardwood and plywood parts, quality AAA grade balsa, complete hardware package, and more. The new and revised (for this issue) 36 page instruction manual has over 150 photos and illustrations that leaves nothing to chance. This model can ship via UPS Ground or you can eliminate the shipping charges completely and pick it up from me at my local Panera Bread Restaurant. If you wish for it to be placed inside another box, let me know in the 'comments' section of checkout but be aware that additional shipping charges will apply and an invoice will emailed to you for that.

These decals are 'mint' condition and have always been stored in a climate controlled residence. Includes paint and markings guide. On this website are two articles that fully explain how to save or reproduce older decals; please read read these before using any older model kit or aftermarket decals. Because the USPS clearly states that any flexible envelope will be bent 90 degrees or more within 2 inches due to automatic sorting machines, I cannot send decals in a flexible envelope. And any decal reinforced with cardboard will be equal to or greater than 1/4" thick, which USPS says must go at the normal 'box' rate. There is no choice; because I will not knowingly send decals to destruction, they will only ship in a box. So to eliminate or save significantly on shipping charges, please order them with model kits. Likewise, if you only purchase decals, try to order enough decals make the shipping cost (per sheet) worth while.

I inquired about sending decals via "Media Mail" as the looks like the perfect solution; however, the US Post Master specifically called out decals as not being Media mail and prohibiting using it in that way. Yes, some businesses do anyway but it is against regulations. I have a great relationship with USPS and I cannot put that at risk.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed VG++

Still factory sealed. 1973 release. Markings for Gabreski's aircraft of the 56th Fighter Group. Very finely molded and detailed kit with traditional high Monogram quality. Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG++
$120
First issue 'Four Star" kit dated 1960. This airplane is a civil F3F that was flown for Gulf Oil by the famous stunt pilot Al Williams. The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals including striping, sliding canopy, rigging material and instructions for rigging and is molded in clear, orange and silver. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and excellent decals and instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good-
$165
Very rare original "S" kit from 1959. The box states "So Realistic It Does Everything But Fly!" and that is no idle boast. It is full of action features; the wings fold, dive brakes operate, arresting hook moves, canopy slides to show full cockpit, landing gear retracts and cowling comes off to show fully detailed engine. The most interesting thing is that the landing gear retracts and extends with a very complicated gear system that is operated from a central point. Molded in the correct gloss medium gray and clear plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition with slight yellowing as the only flaw and the instructions are 'excellent++'. The box is only graded 'good-' due to the light age staining shown on the box top at the right side.
