Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG+
$325
Very rare kit with great box art by Mort Kunstler. This is the first and probably only issue dated 1967. Aurora did a beautiful job on this model, but it simply did not sell and was discontinued very shortly. The high price of $5 USD and the esoteric subject matter were to blame. This is a large-scale model with excellent detail. Features a one piece hull, complete propeller and rudder detail, one piece main deck, venetian blinds for the larger interior windows, extensive deck fittings which are all separately molded, all hand rails (in chrome), dinghy with interior & oars, spray shields, display stand, 5 figures and much more. The kit has never been started. The blue and white parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The brown and chrome parts are loose and have been inventoried 100% complete. Includes instructions and decals. The chrome plating in in 'as new' condition. This kit must be shipped insured.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Good+

Molded in the correct light ivory/gray plastic and correct early, two-piece clear Airfix 'teardrop-base' stand. Airfix's second logo for plastic models is known among collectors as the 'Type Two' or 'T2' logo and was used from the late 1950s into the early 1960s.

Rare 1986 Revell of Germany issue with very colorful Lufthansa markings. From the original 'S' kits molds dating from the late 1950s. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
$179
Rare one-and-only 1960 issue that contains both the DH-4 and Curtis JN-4 Jenny. The box is in exceptional condition with 'excellent' color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape or price tags (and no marks from either), no stains, fading or torn/missing litho. Very light wear and edge wear are the only significant flaws. Aurora really went out of the way to make this a special kit; however, it did not sell well and was retired after one year. Features completely new box artwork, a DH-4 molded in gloss dark green and black, the JN-4 molded in gloss bright yellow and black, great custom decal sheets for both aircraft and special 'Barnstormer' instructions for each aircraft. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. The instructions sheets are both in 'near mint' condition and the decal sheets are both completely flat with the typical age yellowing as the only significant flaw.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed VG
$269
Still factory 'round tape' sealed. This very rare 1/16 scale model is from 1991 and is highly detailed. It features 283 pieces, rolling chassis build-up just like the actual truck, complete engine, full suspension, exhaust and drive line detail, excellent engine compartment, opening hood, sleeper, complete interior, alloy wheels, dual exhaust stacks, twin antennas, 5th wheel, air horns and side mirrors and more.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG
$125
Rare, first issue from about 1956. This was a fine effort by Aurora for that time and an impressive model when assembled. Features retracting pontoons and rotating propellers. Includes correct early logo instructions which show the clear 'Triangle World' stand. This correct stand is included. This must be one of the first instances of the 'Triangle' stand being used as it is normally associated with oval 'Famous Fighter' logo kits. Molded in gloss silver and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. It is interesting to note that the early Aurora PBY issue has at least three small variations to the box top. The very first issue says '1/4 SCALE MODEL' at the top right. Clearly, this kit is not 1/48 scale and someone at Aurora corrected it. Following that, there are two known corrections: early and late. On the early version, the '1/4' was blotted out with a dark blue oval or circle and '5/32' was added after the word 'SCALE.' It was now correct, but the appearance was not completely professional. This box is the later version - on the next box order, they kept the '1/4' blotted out but added a proper looking '5/32' in front of the blot.

1983 issue after Monogram's late 1970s purchase of all of the Aurora molds. Since it is from the original Aurora molds, it includes the figure, display base, bats, gnarled tree stump and more. You can't say that Monogram didn't do their best with the Aurora movie monsters; this is one of at least 3 different Monogram issues. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried with all of the 'stock' parts present. NOTE: this kit originally came with duplicate 'glow' parts; those are all missing. All other parts are present and includes instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good++

This well engineered model can make any of 6 versions listed and features a detailed cockpit, pilot figure, optional position canopy, retracted or extended landing gear, rotating propeller & wheels, a very large variety of underwing stores & gun options and more. Molded in the proper green, black and clear plastic and includes paint guide and decals for all variants. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions.

Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good
$899
Very rare and even rarer in complete condition. This is the 1959 first and only issue of this classic Monogram models and certainly one of the 'Holy Grail' for the manufacturer. The model features 18 aircraft (102 parts total), all to a constant 1/240 scale. All aircraft have an in-flight configuration accurate down to the upward-swept wing angle on the B-52. The display is made complete with all aircraft riding on 'Flight Wires' that rise from the special blue stand. The large decal sheet is in amazing 'Near Mint+' condition. It is flat and 100% intact with no visible micro-cracking and no yellowing. The instructions and Air Power book are both in 'Excellent+++' condition with light yellowing as the only significant flaw. The kit has never been started; there is no assembly. The flight wires are still in the factory sealed clear bag. The plastic parts have been inventoried 100% complete. The box is rated 'Good'. It has 'excellent' color and gloss, four solid original corners, no repairs, no price tag or tag marks and no tears. Wear includes many lithograph missing 'chips' as shown; these are due to bug damage. These chips are on the box sides also but there are slightly fewer than on the top. There is one very light crease about 1 inch long at the lower left corner. This kit must be shipped with postal insurance and double-boxed.
