	1/56 #H210-79 Revell Lockheed F-94C Starfire Interceptor - With One Piece Stand Arm - Pre 'S' Kit VG++ Injection Molded old			$175
	1954 Pre-S issue. This is the rare second issue. The first issue was in the simple one-piece box and Revell quickly converted to this two-piece box as it was much more durable and a full-color lithographed 'slick' could be used. For the second issue, Revell added rivet and raised panel line detail as well as landing gear, a two piece box and H210-79 kit number. The famous 'Globe' clear stand was added, but this kit has the rare one piece stand arm and the instructions reflecting that. Revell quickly realized that the one-piece arm was not strong enough, and quickly modified it to the familiar three piece arm for the 3rd issue. The box is in very good++ condition with four solid corners, nice color and gloss and minimal wear with minor insect damage on the corners of one short side. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are in near mint condition. The original small parts 'krinkle' bag is present as well.

	1/55 #H249-89 Revell Grumman F11F-1 Tiger - 'S' Issue VG- Injection Molded old			$69
	Original issue 'S' kit from 1956. Hardbox has excellent color and gloss but small dent and litho damage on the left as well as light, small areas of insect litho damage on the sides. Never started. 100% inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

	1/28 #H256-198 Revell Rickenbacker's Spad XIII 'S' Kit Fair Injection Molded old			$75
	Very large 1957 'S' kit in 1/28 scale. Nicely molded and detailed. Features 'Hat-In-The-Ring' 94th Aero Squadron markings for Captain Eddie Rickenbacker's aircraft, detailed Hispano-Suiza engine, removable inspection panels, detailed machine guns, full cockpit, rotating wheels and prop, very fine 'fabric' detailing over ribs and stringers, rigging material and full rigging instructions. The model has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, rigging material, decals and instructions. The box is only fair due to insect damage. The instructions are excellent. The decal transfers are as new but the backing paper has minor insect damage.

	1/28 #H197-198 Revell Sopwith Camel - 'S' Issue Good- Injection Molded old			$75
	1957 'S' kit with classic box art. Large 1/28 scale kit is nicely molded and detailed. Features detailed rotary engine the moves with the prop, authentic fine fabric texture finish over ribs, complete cockpit with movable control stick and rudder bar, removable cowling, pilot and crew figures, rigging material, complete rigging instructions and more. The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete with all parts including decals and instructions.

	1/535 #H301-198 Revell USS Missouri Battleship - Pre-S Wide Box Issue VG+++ Injection Molded old			$165
	1954 second Pre-S release in the wider box. The earlier (1st) Pre-S release is in the narrow packaging. Very good+++ box condition with perfect color and gloss and light general wear as shown. Never started. Inside, the kit is factory new. The small parts are still sealed in the clear factory bag, and the parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete including the flag sheet and instructions. This kit is from the first molds that Revell cut for it's own model. Kits previous to this were marketed from other companies, such as Gowland & Gowland. It is said that the Missouri was the most profitable kit that Revell ever produced.

	1/65 #497-70 Aurora Grumman F4F Wildcat VG++ Injection Molded old			$55
	Likely the third issue - Sunburst oval logo does not have 'Famous Fighters' in the boarder. Dated 1962 but is from the mid 1960s due to the 70 cent price extension. Molded in dark blue and clear. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present.

	1/180 #493-49 Aurora Boeing B-47 Stratojet VG+ Injection Molded old			$125
	From 1956. Very rare first issue with 'Famous Fighters' square 'Northern Lights' logo. Classic Jo Kotula artwork. This issue only lasted one year, as in 1957 the new oval logo box was used. The box would be near mint but is graded 'very good+' because there is insect litho damage on one short side. Inside, the model is as new down to the original packing tissue. The parts are high gloss silver. The instructions are dated 1956 and correctly show the old style logo and square clear stand. The decals and stand are correct for this issue also. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts, decals, instructions and correct square clear 2-piece stand.

	1/156 #491-49 Aurora Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress Good+ Injection Molded old			$125 Sale Pending Email for availability.
	Very rare first issue from 1959 with the 'Northern Lights' rectangular logo. This logo was only used one year. Inside, the kit is 100% correct for an first issue. It includes the early rectangular stand, instructions showing this stand, and the correct decal sheet with no stand decal (the next issue had a stand decal since it had the triangle base stand). Molded in gloss dark green and clear. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	1/270 #494-49 Aurora Boeing B-52 Stratofortress Good++ Injection Molded old			$120
	Rare first issue with rectangular logo. Dramatic Jo Kotula box art with 1956 date. Molded in correct silver and clear with correct rectangular clear stand. This kit has full landing gear and outrigger detail with gear doors. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. It is interesting to note that this kit is NOT a reissue of the Comet molds - this kit is original to Aurora. The Aurora kit is significantly larger that the Comet issue and varies in a great many details.

	1/48 #102-69 Aurora Sopwith Camel VG+ Injection Molded old			$69
	First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. This logo was only used for this one year - in 1957 it was replaced by the 'Famous Fighters' oval 'Sunburst'. The box artist on this issue is Jim Cox, the first model box artist for Aurora. (Please read the article about Mr. Cox on this website) This kit is part of a very successful WWI aircraft line in 1/48 scale that Aurora introduced this year. The line sold so well that kits were added to it into the 1960s. Molded in the glossy olive drab green and black. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	1/48 #103-69 Aurora British SE-5 Scout Exc+ Injection Molded old			$80
	First issue from 1956 with Jim Cox boxart and Northern Lights logo. Box is in 'excellent+' condition. The logo on this kit only appeared for one year. In 1957 it was replaced with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' Sunburst logo. This kit was one of a very famous line of 1/48 scale WWI aircraft kits introduced by Aurora at this time. Due to the popularity, subjects were still being released into the 1960s. Molded in glossy olive green and black. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. 	1/48 #103-69 Aurora SE-5 Scout World War I British Fighter Good++ Injection Molded old			$55
	First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. This logo only appeared for one year. In 1957 it was replaced with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' Sunburst logo. The artwork is by Jim Cox. This kit was one of a very famous line of 1/48 scale WWI aircraft kits introduced by Aurora at this time. Due to the popularity, subjects were still being released into the 1960s. Molded in glossy olive green and black. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	1/48 #40A-79 Aurora Grumman F6F Hellcat - Famous Fighters of All Nations Exc++ Injection Molded old			$175
	Second issue of this rare kit. For this release, Aurora changed to the full color 'Aurora Line' rectangular logo, dropped the 'national insignia' left-hand box top boarder and retained the original artwork. 'A' was added to the part number and the price extension was raised to '79' from '69'. Kit is molded in the correct beautiful metallic dark blue and clear and has the rectangular clear stand, correct decals and correct instructions. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	1/46 #371-259 Aurora Martin B-26D Marauder - 'Aurora Line' Logo Famous Fighters of All Nations Issue VG++ Injection Molded old			$155
	Mid-1950s issue of the popular kit. Please note that this kit has the 1955 Aurora Line rectangular color logo on the box and on the instructions. Molded in silver and clear. With Aurora's practice of not wasting boxes, instructions, decals or even older parts, this kit contains the newer large clear 'triangle' stand and Tatem Company decals with a triangle logo for the stand. The kit has not been started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. When Aurora moved to the West Hempstead plant, they planned a series of very large bombers. All kits released up to this time had been fairly small. Aurora's instincts were correct, and the B-26, B-25 and B-29 were a big sales success. The first issue box art was done by Jim Cox and was only used for about one year. This is the second issue box art and the more famous of the two. The issue after this one retained the same box artwork but had the 'Famous Fighters' in the oval Sunburst logo.

	1/48 #118-79 Aurora North American P-51D Mustang With Aurora Glue Good++ Injection Molded old			$145
	Contains still sealed Aurora glue with the early 'Aurora Line' logo. The kit is the first issue from about 1956 with the Northern Lights logo. Has many working features: detailed engine with removable cowlings, full cockpit and retractable landing gear. Molded in gloss olive green and clear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	1/48 #99-130 Aurora Lockheed P-38 Lightning Exc++ Injection Molded old			$125
	The Jo Kotula box artwork is dated 1959, but the kit is slightly later (early 1960s) due to the '130' price extension and the lack of 'Famous Fighters' in the ovals. The box is 'excellent++' with like new color and gloss and four solid corners. Molded in silver and clear the the 'triangle' clear stand and stand arm. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The Aurora issues of the 1/48 scale P-38 are interesting to say the least. The first issue is the Brooklyn kit with the P-38/B-24 box artwork. Inside, the plastic is light blue with minimal surface detail and a clear canopy and rectangular stand that says 'Aurora Plastic Corp. Brooklyn, 4, N.Y.'. There are no landing gear, gear doors or mass balances. The second issue has identical box art, plastic color, decals and rectangular stand, but the box and instructions says 'West Hempstead' instead of Brooklyn. The clear stand mold has had 'Brooklyn' milled out, and there is no location on the stand. The third issue has the same artwork, but the full color 'Aurora Line' logo is used - but the big changes were on the inside. Aurora modified the molds, adding a pitot tube, elevator mass balances and landing gear struts, wheels and doors. The decals and stand remain the same, but the new instructions reflect the changes to the molds. This time the kit is molded in an attractive metallic blue. The fourth issue dropped the Jim Cox artwork in favor of a new P-38 flying from right to left across a threatening sky. The plastic still metallic light blue and the decals and stand remain unchanged. The new details were retained. The fifth issue was 1959. The oval 'Famous Fighters' logo was used with Jo Kotula artwork of two P-38s. The detail level of the kit remained the same, but it was molded in olive drab and clear. The newer 'Triangle' base was added at this time. Further issues kept this box artwork, but the oval logo changed as well as the price extensions. This is a 6th issue due to the lack of 'Famous Fighters' in the oval, and the 99-130 price.

	1/48 #99-98 Aurora Lightning P-38 Famous Fighters of All Nations Good++ Injection Molded old			$125
	Rare. Third issue with rectangular 'Aurora Line' logo and Famous Fighters of All Nations. Molded in correct gloss medium blue plastic and clear with rectangular clear stand. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: decal were previously stuck to the instructions in several small areas. The damage is to the backing paper - the actual transfers are as new.

	Late 1950s hardbox issue with incredible Ray Gaedke artwork. The box has excellent color and gloss and four solid corners; corner and edge wear are the main flaws. Large 1/48 scale F-100 with movable rudder, elevators and ailerons, detailed ejection seat and pilot, full jet engine detail with opening engine access hatch and a load-out of two drop tanks and 8 missiles. Includes colorful decals for the box art aircraft. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.
