Includes markings for three aircraft including the yellow-winged pre-war versions and Torpedo 8 from the Battle of Midway. Never started. Very rare kit from 1957. The box is in exceptional 'near mint' condition with brilliant color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape, price tags or tears, no fading and no stains. The only flaws are a very light crease at the upper left (hard to see, even in pictures) and very light, general wear. Well detailed kit for that time and a big improvement over many of the Aurora aircraft and car models. Features main station with separately molded doors and windows, station signboards, light fixtures, rain gutters, downspouts and ground base. Also includes the waiting platform which features benches, weight scale, suite case, hat box, trunks, packing cases, light fixture, gutters and downspouts and base. Molded in a 'stone gray' and dark 'roof brown.' Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. The instructions are in 'near mint' condition. Please note that Aurora did not included decals with this kit.

1970s early Life-Like issue from 1960s Pyro molds - note it still has the Pyro kit number. Features well detailed underside chassis with separately molded front axle and suspension, full interior, wire wheels and more. Molded in deep blue and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. Pyro advertised these as ideal for slot car conversion.
