	1/72 #G-1 Maircraft Piper Cub Trainer - 'Little Gems' Series Scale Solid Wooden Aircraft Kit Mint Wood_Metal old			$42
	These kits are good candidates for the first line of 1/72 model aircraft produced in the USA. Although not as old as the Frog injection molded 1/72 scale kits, these solid wood and metal models were made in the late 1930s or 1940s to 1/6 inch scale - which is commonly known today as exactly 1/72 scale. Maircraft announced kits G-1 through G-6 with 'more to come', but it is likely that no others were produced as Maircraft was out of business by 1948. The highpoint of the Little Gems series was the plans and instructions. Wonderfully illustrated and written, they show step by step how to carve and contour the model and how to finish it. Includes excellent three view full size drawings and templates. The kit consists of balsa wood with printed outlines for all parts and a metal parts sheet with wheels and propeller. This kit has never been started and is complete with all parts and plans/instructions. Maircraft was originally founded in the early or mid 1930s by Gordon Christoph and went by the name Aircraft Model Company. The company produced a typical line of solid 'profile cut' kits that required the usual high talent levels for carving and finishing. A former Comet Model Airplane & Supply Co. salesman, Jack Mair, bought the company in the early 1940s and renamed it Maircraft. This company was one of the handful of solid kit producers who issued models in a consistent 1/48 scale during the 1930s and 1940s (others included Hawk and Dyna-Model), and eventually even made these 1/72 scale series 'Little Gems'.

	1/120 #H246 Revell Douglas DC-9 AeroMexico - Lodela Issue Exc+ Injection Molded old			$59
	Rare Revell Lodela issue with colorful AeroMexico decals. Nice kit of the original 'short' body DC-9. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions. The original owner kept the plastic on the box but opened on end.

	HO #4358 Westerfield 36' Fowler Boxcar 6' Doors CNR 420150 Series - Canadian National - HO Craftsman Kit VG Multi_Media old			$36
	Out of production. Very high quality modern craftsman-style HO kit. The main parts are beautifully cast in high definition resin while the details are injection molded and metal. With transfers. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in the internal factory sealed bag and the rest have been inventoried complete including transfers and instructions.

	1/72 #107 Hasegawa Messerschmitt Bf-109E4 or E7/8 - III/SKG210 Eastern Front 1941 or JG26 Galland 1940 Exc Injection Molded old			$17
	Includes parts and decals both both variants. Very cleanly molded with fine recessed panel lines. This kit has not been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	1/72 KP Avia B.35 (B-35) Sealed NM Injection Molded new			$18
	Still factory sealed. The B-35 was the successor of the beautiful B-534 biplane fighter. Although development was on schedule and promising, the prototyped crashed in an accident in November of 1938. A second prototype was built and flown in January of 1939. High speed was 480 km/hr with a 550 km range. However, Germany occupied Czechoslovakia shortly after this and the aircraft was not able to play a role in it's defense. Very nicely molded kit with recessed panel lines. Includes decals for prototype #1.

	1/700 CM USS Chicago (Cruiser 1898) Resin new			$55
	SPECIAL ORDER limited production kit. Museum quality high definition resin castings. Complete kit with all parts needed for assembly. Some kits include photo-etched details and decals if required -email for details on a certain kit. Kits are molded upon receipt of payment. Normal wait is six to eight weeks.

	1/48 #5509 Monogram Heinkel He-111H-4 or H-5 German Bomber (He 111) VG++ Injection Molded old			$65
	Includes parts to build either version: bomber or torpedo bomber. Has markings for 'Night Blitz' London attacker H-4 of KG 55 'Griffin Squadron' in early 1941 and KOG 26 'Lion Squadron' which was relocated to Sicily in 1941 to attack shipping as an H-5 twin-torpedo bomber. Very highly detailed kit. Never started. Factory sealed bags with decals and instructions.

	1/72 #4113 Revell Spad XIII C-1 Exc++ Injection Molded old			$24
	1992 issue. Very nicely detailed and molded. The model has never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	HO Main Line Models Renken's Milk and Cream HO 50' Wooden Express Reefer (Refrigerator Car) Craftsman Kit Good++ Wood_Metal old			$56
	Very detailed and well made kit. Main Line was one of a number of manufactures that created very realistic wood and metal kits during the Golden Age of Railroad craftsman kits (please read the article about this era on this website). Features pre-painted and lettered billboard reefer sides, precut wood ends, roof and floor and stock wood as needed, metal ladders and stock and a factory sealed bag of metal fittings. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete including instructions.

	1/72 #5002 Pegasus Blohm & Voss Bv-155 B-1 (V-1) with Airwaves Photoetched Cockpit and Details Good++ Injection Molded old			$38
	Includes Airwaves super detail set which has a complete cockpit and other details. The B-155 was the height of Luftwaffe high altitude fighter design but did not see combat. First flown on February 8th, 1945, the aircraft had been developed from the Messerschmitt Bf-109ST and Me-155. Three prototypes were constructed, and one remains in storage with the NASM. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	1/72 #F262 Frog McDonnell F-4K / F-4M Phantom II - Fleet Air Arm or RAF (Hasegawa Molds) Good Injection Molded old			$36
	This is a high quality Hasegawa kit that was re-boxed by Frog and marketed in the UK. Has decals for both aircraft. This kit has not been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	1/72 #441-50 Lindberg Henschel HS-129B German Tank Destroyer Exc+++ Injection Molded old			$27
	1966 hardbox issue in fantastic condition with Tom Morgan boxart. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. After the war, Lindberg and Olsen had a strong hand in early United States injection molded kit development. Please see the article located on this website about early USA plastic kit manufactures.

	1/87 Comet Pacific Fruit Express Ventilated Refrigerator Union Pacific (Wooden Reefer) - HO Craftsman Kit Wood old			$44
	Comet was a very famous manufacture of flying stick and tissue as well as solid aircraft models. What is less well known is that Comet produced HO equipment during the HO boom of the late 1930s/1940s. This is an excellent kit from 1939 with plans drawn by the famous model designer Fred Schlienz. The kit features precut and shaped wooden roof, underside and frame, metal ladders, grab irons and other small parts, and heavy embossed and pre-decorated cardstock sides and metal trucks. Features very well drawn full size plans. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. It is in a blank white box.

	1/72 #2-1109-100 MPC Focke-Wulf FW-190D Profile Series - JG54 Achmer 1944 / JG26 'Schlageter Handrup 1944 / JG52 Rheim-Main 1945 Good++ Injection Molded old			$22
	In the 1970s, MPC released the very popular Profile Series. Inside each box was a quality Airfix kit but with MPC decals to build any of the three aircraft shown on the box top. Nicely detailed older Airfix kit. This kit has never been started. It is still in the internally sealed factory bag and includes decals and instructions.

	Dime Scale Flight Spartan Executive (Fighter) - 20 inch Wingspan Dime Scale Flying Airplane NM Wood old			$18
	Scale Flight Model Company in Bloomington, Indiana, USA was dedicated to releasing authentic reproductions of the finest "Dime Scale" flying model (stick and tissue) kits from the 1930s/40s. Dime Scale models used to sell for a dime in the 1930's, hence the name. They are actually box scale, but as a general guideline, they usually had a wingspan of 16 inches and have simple and light construction. "Dime Scale" models are now a class flown in some competitions. Kit consists of contest grade printwood, contest quality strip wood, machine cut balsa propeller, the best Japanese tissue, wooden wheels, competition bushed nose plug, brass thrust washers, prop shaft, prop freewheeler, FAI rubber strip motor and a copy of a genuine dime scale plan that was used in the 1930s-1940s. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

	#3208-100 Comet Aeronca K - 25 inch Wingspan Flying Balsa Airplane Model Exc Wood old			$42
	1970s reissue of the older kit. Comet was a famous manufacture of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998. Kit features traditional wood/tissue construction, detailed full size plans, building instructions, hardware (if required), tissue and propeller. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

	1/72 #H611-50 Revell Supermarine Spitfire Mk.II VG++ Injection Molded old			$26
	1963 two-piece box issue with framable box artwork. NOTE: the underwing intake and spinner have been painted. There is no other painting beyond these two small parts and there is no assembly. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

	Suitable for Slot Car racing. Molded in tan, clear and chrome. Includes full interior. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

	1/24 #D-16 Cleveland 1933 Great Lakes Sport Trainer - Plans and Printwood for a Flying Wooden Model Airplane No Box Wood old			$34
	Plans are dated 1934 and are good. There is edge wear and a closed tear but they are completely usable. A complete set of Cleveland printwood is included and the wood is also in excellent condition and neatly printed. Never started - no parts have been removed.

	Factory sealed 1970s issue. Hard to find -30 version of the venerable short-haul transport. Features optional position boarding and baggage doors, optional position landing gear, optional position rear airstair door, clear windows and KLM decals.
