1960s Pyro issue from original molds. The model includes beautiful green injection molded parts including wire wheels (not solid wheels), clear parts, detailed chassis and complete interior. Molded in dark green and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box.

Very rare. One and only issue and even rarer in this condition - never started and 100% complete. Features detailed blown engine, tubular chassis build-up just like the actual race car, detailed suspension and cockpit, lift-up body with body prop and more. Includes full decals which are in amazing "mint' condition. Molded in the correct white, silver, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires. Chrome plating is in exceptional 'near mint+' condition. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box is graded 'excellent' and has like-new color, four original solid corners, no repairs, no tears or missing litho, no tape, stains, price tags and no fading. Flaws include very light edge wear as shown, slight corner damage at the lower right and a short 1/2 inch light crease at the middle right.

Amazing museum-quality, hand-built and factory painted model for the very discriminating collector. CMC quality it legendary and this model is no exception. Many of them have appreciated in value rapidly. This model is in mint, complete condition and has always been kept in the original packing material and in the original box. It was only removed for photos. It is fully detailed inside and out, including places that cannot be seen once it was assembled and includes many working features. This amazing model has 1,141 parts and is completely hand assembled. The front grill is metal, the front and rear bumpers are metal and chromed to a gloss finish, there is a complete engine with all wiring and lines, the hood opens and has an adjustable bracket, the correct riveted metal lining is in the door steps, the wheels are aluminum rims with air valves and with stainless steel spokes each fitted by hand, removable knock-offs and wheels, exactly crafted and accurate louvers on the front and rear fenders, filigree-designed metal wipers equipped with rubber blades, padded bucket seats covered with the finest leather, true-to-the-original dashboard complete with all controls and instruments, authentically replicated Nardi three-spoke steering wheel in wood-like finish, carpeted passenger compartment and trunk floor, removable spare wheel fastened by a toggle screw in the trunk, all windows framed in metal, working fuel tank cap, exact replication of the underbody and the steel tube frame, complete front suspension with triangular wishbone, coil springs and shock absorbers all made of metal, rear wheel suspension on rigid axle with lengthwise compound springs, shock absorbers and double sided trailing links, true-to-original exhaust pipes and chromed metal tips, all brake and fuel pipes, complete with filter, electric fuel pump, hand brake ropes and more. Includes the car, the full color booklet describing the model and features, separate "Manual For Moving Parts", Tag with the Serial Number (#2761), lug nut wrench, original polishing cloth, all the original packing styrofoam and the CMC white 'red printed' sheet on the outside of the foam.

1962 Revell of Canada issue with John Steel box art. Well detailed, large scale model measures 15.75 inches long when assembled. The kit has never been started. Inside, it is just as it left the factory with all parts and paperwork still sealed in the factory clear bag. The Aaron Ward served as a station ship during the first trans-Atlantic flights of NC-1, NC-3 and NC-4 in 1919. During that time she was commanded by the famous Commander R.A. Spruance (later Admiral) of Midway fame. After that she served in the Pacific Fleet. In 1940 she became part of the famous Lend-Lease arrangement and was renamed HMS Castleton and saw heavy duty as a convoy escort in the North Atlantic till 1944.
