This model is unique because it is designed for motorization and also has provision for working head and tail lights. Very nicely molded. The one piece body is molded in bright yellow. All other parts are molded in black, clear and chrome plated plastic and with rubber tires. There is a full interior, steerable front wheels and more. The motorizing hardware - metal axle, gear, contacts, etc. is included. However, Imai did not furnish the common FA-130 motor or the four small bulbs with tis kit; they had to be purchased separately. HO or N gauge railroad bulbs would work perfectly. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

The B-58 was the world's first supersonic bomber but had a short service life due to the inability of aircraft to survive high-altitude penetration in a SAM environment- incredible fuel consumption may have been a lessor factor as well. Excellent kit features recessed panel lines, full cockpits, optional position canopies, "TC" Piggyback Fuel/Weapons Pods, wing mounted nuclear free-fall weapons, detailed wheel wells and excellent molding throughout.
