This kit is from Airfix molds and is one of the MPC '3 Big Bonus' features series. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. The model features customizing parts (such as chrome plated bombs, missiles, prop, exhaust, air scoops, antenna and guns), stock and customizing decals and the clear modular display stand. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models. Never started. The white parts are still in the internal factory sealed bag; the other parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions.

Rare kit from the early 1950s. This series was Cavacraft's competition for Strombecker, and they did a great job. These kits are as good and often better than Strombecker's. The wingspan is 6.5 inches. All parts are completely carved and shaped from quality western pine. Features fully finished fuselage, finished wings complete with perfect airfoils, die-cut struts and horizontal & vertical stabilizers, a factory sealed envelope with pre-finished wheels, prop and more, excellent decals, a sealed envelope of CASCO Glue, sandpaper, sanding stick, step-by-step instructions with a painting guide and full size plans. Complete and never started. Other aircraft in the line included S-1 P-51 Mustang, S-2 British SE-5, S-3 Piper Cub, S-4 Ercoupe, S-5 Taylorcraft, S-6 Navion, S-7 Cessna 140 and S-8 Fokker Triplane.

Rare 1930s model of the German WWI reparations airship 'Los Angeles.' Stick-and-tissue construction kit that has never been started and has been inventoried with all parts present but NOTE: missing plans. However, this is a very simple build if you have a good three view drawing or any plans of the Los Angeles. Enlarge your plans or drawing until the center height is the height of the largest bulkhead. The kit consists of fuselage bulkheads numbered from front to rear. Glue them to the upper and lower keels; then attach the stringers as you would any usual stick-and-tissue fuselage model. There are 4 thick sheets for the four fins and are 8 balsa wood blocks: 5 for engine pods, 1 for the main control cabin and one each for the bow and stern. I have seen an add for this model in very old Model Airplane News magazines. C&S made quite a line of ridged airships including the Los Angeles (in two lengths), Graf Zeppelin (in two sizes), Hindenburg and perhaps others. The C&S boxes were thin cardboard and are almost always beat up and missing sections; this one is no exception.

Very rare. In 1977 Bandai briefly issued four 'demonstration kits' to test the market. They were this Mercedes Benz L3000S, German Goliath Demolition Vehicle, Mercedes Benz L3000A House Truck and NSU Kettenrad Motorcycle. After this very brief availability, Bandai never reisseed them again. However, at one point Academy obtained many Bandai molds and reissued several of the famous 1/48 Pin Point armor issue, using original Bandai artwork. This is one of the Academy kits. Features detailed motor, removable hood, detailed chassis with separately molded exhaust, two bar, front and rear suspension and driveline, excellent cab interior detail, two styles of troop seating configuration for the bed, optional 'soft' top for the bed and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions. Please note that Academy did not issue decals with this kit; there are four paper license plates to cut from the instructions if you wish.

From Arii molds. Very unusual 1/48 scale kit that is nicely detailed and motorized. The metal and nylon gear box and motor are hidden underneath the chassis, so upper detail is not sacrificed. This kit comes with the correct FA-13 motor. Batteries are stored in the very bottom of the cab. Molded in dark olive drab with rubber tires, clear parts and metal drive parts as needed. The kit has never been started. The 155mm gun and tractor have been inventoried complete, and includes instructions. NOTE: missing hand-held wired remote parts and decals.
