Kawanishi N1K1-Ja Shiden George - Takara Issue VG Injection Molded old | ||
| Very rare Revell Japan Takara large 1/32 scale 'George'. It is rumored that these molds were lost when the freighter carrying them sank in the Sea of Japan. Other molds lost on that ship were the 1/32 Oscar, Tony and Raiden (Jack). The parts are molded in the correct medium gray and clear for this issue. The kit features very fine panel lines, highly detailed cockpit and engine, removable cowling and optional position canopy, working flaps and drop tank/bomb load. There are decals for three Japanese aircraft and one for a captured USAAF evaluation aircraft. There is also the Revell Japan full color large print of two of the aircraft that can be built. Inside the model has never been started. All the parts are still in the factory sealed bags. Instructions and decals are as new. Shipping insurance is required for this model. Please note that the box would grade much higher, but there is clear tape on the lower end of all four box top sides. | |||

XSL-01 Manned Space Ship - 'S' Issue VG+ Injection Molded old | ||
| One of the 'Holy Grail' of 1950s Space Kits. 1957 first and only issue 'S' kit with the fantastic box art. The molds are reportedly damaged beyond use, which makes reissues impossible. The spaceship was designed by the rocket scientist Ellwyn E. Angle of Systems Laboratories Inc. Features detailed manned top stage with full interior, removable top, opening hatch, spaceship and ground crew members and detailed working launch pad. The main stages and boosters snap apart to recreate all phases of the flight from Earth takeoff, Lunar Landing and Return to Earth. The included 'XSL-01 Operations Manual' outlines in words and illustrations each phase of the trip on the spaceship. Molded in the correct gloss orange, clear, gloss silver and gloss medium blue. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Decals are flat with light yellowing a the only flaw; same for the instructions. All original cardboard internal presentation material is present. Box is graded 'Very Good+' with excellent color, gloss, four solid corners with no repairs, no tape or price tag tears. It has light creases and typical shelf wear as shown. This kit must be shipped insured. | |||

| Rare 1975 Japan issue with unique and beautiful box artwork. As with most Japan issues, this one contains extra decals for a total of two aircraft. There is also a large, full color painting on the front of the instructions. Well detailed large scale kit of the British night fighter with airborne interception radar. The Beaufighter was flown by aces such like Flt./Lt. "Cat's Eyes" Cunningham, whose markings are included. His final score stood at 20 victories and his aircraft is one that can be depicted in this model. Kit features detailed Bristol Hercules engines, removable cowling, two flight crew, optional position landing gear, full crew cockpits and radar antenna. The kit has never been started. The parts that were internal factory sealed bag are still sealed and the parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. | |||
