| Very early rare Hawk kit. Hawk was active in manufacturing wooden kits in the 1920s and wooden kits with some injection molded details in the late 1930s before all-injection molded kits came around. Two of Hawks early plastic kits were the F9F and F-90 in the flip top box. Oddly, the kits are more famous for the fact that Aurora purchased the F9F and F-90 models and back engineered them to create their first two plastic kits molds. Correctly molded in a beautiful medium blue with clear stand, stand arm, nose probe and canopy and olive drab pilot. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||
