| First issue dated 1964 in the correct 'Four Star' hardbox. This model is part of a very popular and successful line of 1/48 World War II aircraft that Monogram released through the 1960s. Very nicely molded and detailed model in the best Monogram tradition with very fine raised panel detail, full cockpit, optional position landing gear, optional full or open canopy, pilot, belly tank and working landing flaps. Contains decals for USAF, RAF and AVG Flying Tigers (Chinese). The model has never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

HMS Campbeltown (USS Buchanan) Destroyer Sealed Mint Injection Molded old | ||
| Still factory sealed. 1971 issue. Large scale and highly detailed kit of the historic four-pipe destroyer. Originally the USS Buchanan Four-Piper, she was traded in the famous Lend-Lease program for the use of British bases. On March 8, 1942, the Campbeltown sailed up the Loire River. Her mission was to destroy the Normandie Drydock, a possible haven for the Tirpitz which was holed up on Norway at this time. The Campbeltown was disguised as a German warship and the bow was packed with 8500 lbs of high explosive depth charges. Under a RAF diversion, Campbeltown fought her way up the river and rammed the dock doors at full speed. Charges at the stern sank the back of the ship and she was wedged in the dock. During a German inspection 8 hours later, the charges went off, scattering parts of the ship up to one mile away. The dock was rendered useless to the Tirpitz, who now had to stay in Norway. | |||

De Havilland Heron Jersey Airlines with Airline Brochure or RAF Queen's Flight VG Injection Molded old | ||
| 1950s type two box with great artwork. This is an excellent kit with good detail. It features separately molded control surfaces, cockpit detail, optional position cabin door, retracting undercarriage, rotating props, boarding stairs, stewardess, family (mother, father and son) and business man as well as two seated pilots. Kit also includes a wonderful tri-fold flier from Jersey Airlines titled 'Channel islands Holidays'. which contains a full description of this airline's trip to the Channel Islands. The Heron was the result of a larger and redesigned Dove and first flew in 1950. It's ability to operate from rough fields and ease of maintenance quickly make it a favorite for feeder and independent airlines in the UK and overseas. Heron IIs were also selected by the RAF for the Queens Flight, which is a statement to it's reliability and safety. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||
