Still factory sealed. Nicely detailed with very fine recessed panel lines, good cockpit and more. Flagon M was a modification of a standard Su-15 with R13-300 engines and the new 'Typhoon M' radar. Wings and landing gear were also changed. The tests took place in 1969 and were very successful; the type became one of the main fighter-interceptors in the 1970s/80s.

This is a very nice model of this Soviet jet-powered two seat armored ground attack aircraft. It flew well until the guns were fired and the exhaust gases caused the engine to lose power and sometimes quit all together. A radical redesign of the jet intakes solved this problem, but the program was canceled after only 5 were built. The program was stopped because the the Soviet switch in doctrine to tactical nuclear weapons on the battlefield. Never started. A good model of this attractive aircraft that was a very early Soviet supersonic reconnaissance platform. The first "R" was built in 1958 on the basis of the experimental aircraft Yak-122. 180 aircraft were built and the first public showing was at a fly-past in Tushino in 1961. Features very finely molded parts, complete interior, optional position cabin doors and landing gear, detailed landing gear and decals with paint guide for multiple aircraft. The Staggerwing is still considered one of the finest civil aircraft designs to reach mass production. The brainchild of Walter Beech, the G17S had a top speed of over 200 mph and landed at 60 mph - all in 1932. It was faster than many fighter planes of the day.

This is the military version of this unique aircraft which was originally used as an airline transport. Originally powered by two 600 hp diesel engines, the Ju-86 was first used in the Spanish Civil War. The diesels were unsuitable for combat and replaced by conventional BWM 132 radials, which was the start of the more successful 'E' variant. This Ju-86 continued to see limited use in WWII on many fronts and in service to several countries. The ultimate developments of this aircraft were the Ju-86P-1 and P-2. P-2s few at up to 49,000 feet and Ju-86R reached an operational ceiling of 52,200 feet. The model features 129 pieces, very good cockpit, four crew members, rotating propellers, optional position landing gear and more. Includes paint guide and decals for Hungarian and two Luftwaffe versions: Neubrandenburg 1940 and Stalingrad 1942. Typical high quality Frog kit with fine panel lines and no rivet detail so it builds up to a realistic model. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Hornets took part in a major incident in US/UK/PRC relations on July 23, 1954, when PLAAF La-7s (or -11s) shot down Cathay Pacific DC-4 VR-HEU near Hong Kong. Hornets from 80 Squadron Kai Tak (not depicted in the Frog kit decals) are scrambled and the first to locate the survivors. Two days later, 7th Fleet AD-1s splash two Lavochkins in the same area.
