Not a kit but a factory-assembled and painted metal model that is ready for display. Highly detailed featuring realistically opening hood, detailed engine, detailed interior, opening passenger side door, wheels that steer from the steering wheel, very good suspension, drive line and exhaust detail, rubber tires and more. Condition is 'excellent++' with only very slight wear. Does not appear to have ever been displayed; but most of the internal packing material is missing so I will pack it carefully. I would rate the condition as 'Near Mint' overall. Nothing is missing and there are repairs or broken parts; factory paint is excellent. The box has wear and one end flap has been glued back on.

Very rare 1940s wartime 'Spotter Model' in the 'National Defense Model Series.' Strombecker specifically made this line of 1/72 scale kits to fit the 'Official National Spotter or Recognition Program' for civilians and the armed forces for training and identification. This is a high quality, highly prefabricated kit of Western Pine hardwood. The parts are almost completely carved - only final sanding is needed! Includes perfectly carved and smooth fuselage, perfect and completely finished engine nacelles, wings cut and carved to shape including airfoil, all other parts cut to shape (and many of them completely finished), smaller parts, full color insignia sheet, CASCO glue envelope, Strombecker wood filler envelope, hardwood sanding stick, two types of sandpaper and extensive & detailed assembly instructions. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes insignia and instructions.

Very early Tamiya Mokei kit with a high-gloss box top and very collectible artwork. Rare 1/50 scale Babs from ex-Marusan molds. This is a very nicely detailed kit for that time with full cockpit, pilot and navigator figures, complete clear side window set, operating elevator, rudder ailerons and wing flap, rotating wheels & propeller and removable cowl to show well-molded engine. Has very colorful civil 'Kamikaze' decals. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.

The kit is probably from the 1970s and is a reproduction of the famous Quaker series adapted for R/C (Radio Control). Includes die cut ribs and many other factory cut parts, sheet wood and wood stock, spars and stringers, wing trailing edges cut to shape, printwood, hardware, clear celluloid for the windshield, preformed metal landing gear. With detailed text instructions booklet and beautiful full size plans. This model came from the estate of a very active and particular early aircraft kit collector. It is like factory-new inside and has not been started. The hardware and small parts are still in the factory sealed bags. Most other parts are still in the factory rubber bands. The few that were not have been inventoried complete. NOTE: this kit was factory packed in a rugged and sturdy box. The model will be shipped with this box only (no external box) unless you request otherwise. If you wish for it to be repacked, extra postage will apply. Note that this kit was also issued by M&P, which stand for Dick Mathis' Design Group, which was out of Lone Oak Texas. I do not know which one came first, this or the M&P issue.
