 USS Constitution Old Ironsides 'S' Issue Exc- Injection Molded old | ||
| 'Green Background' 'S' issue. This is one of two 'S' versions from 1956, making this model the 2nd or 3rd issue. The other 'S' version has a light blue background. The 1st and 2nd issues were Pre-S. Instead of the storyboard history of the ship on the side panels, both S issues have pictures of Revell's extensive kit line on the sides and the "S" logo on the short ends. Revell's early ship models were remarkably detailed. This kit is no exception and has excellent detail. Kit comes with preformed ratlines and full rigging instructions. Never started. Parts are still sealed in the factory bag. Includes assembly/rigging instructions, rigging material and flag sheet. Even includes the small sealed tube of Revell "S" Cement. | |||

| Hardbox issue dated 1960, and the second issue thanks to the '300' price extension. As with most all Revell early ship kits, the model is finely molded and very highly detailed. Model is about 15 inches long when assembled. Features full detail on the top two decks, prefabricated rat lines, vac sails, full rigging material and instructions and display stand. Never started. One sail has damage due to dry rot; the other look very good. Missing one part: #26 figurehead. Complete with all other parts, flag sheet, rigging material and instructions and assembly instructions. | |||

Small parts are still in a factory cello bag, but the bag has split (the kit is complete, however). Has early 1st issue stand with a one-piece stand arm (three prongs at the top). | Rare and very desirable kit with the Disney Promotional Sticker. Contains the colorful United DC-7 and all the accessories shown on the box top - Texaco fuel truck, boarding stairs, United Red Carpet, stantions, tow tractor with tow bar, baggage truck with three baggage carts and figures for the pilot, refueler, model, stewardess, camera man and two drivers for the tow and baggage tractors. The box is in exceptional condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid corners and no stains. Light general wear is the only flaw. Inside, the kit has never been started.
