Very large scale and well detailed Volkswagen features 154 pieces, complete engine including ignition wiring, opening rear trunk, luggage compartment with spare tire and opening hood, complete suspension, full interior with folding seat backs, opening doors and more. Molded in white, black, chrome plate, clear and with rubber tires. Never started. The parts that were factory sealed are still sealed. The ones that were never sealed have been inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the box displays better than the 'good-' grade but is rated as such because there is a water stain on the box bottom (tray). The decals and instructions are not damaged and in 'near mint' condition.

NOTE: this kit has neat and minor assembly and some painting done as described: cockpit floor, seats, instrument panel, bomb site and bombardiers seat assembled and painted; bombs assembled and painted; figures built and painted. 1970s issue of this very highly detailed kit in large 1/8 scale and with over 200 pieces. Complete engine includes crankcase, cylinders, pushrod housings, propeller hub, accessory section, carburetor and fuel system, vinyl wires for the distributor blocks and dual ignition system and more. A scale engine mount is furnished with the kit. The kit has never been started. All parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and instructions. Please note there are no decals. This engine was P&Ws first aircraft engine and the original purchaser was the US Navy in 1926. The Wasp went on to find world-wide fame in over 50 aircraft. The Boeing 247, P-12, F4B-4, Curtiss F6C-4 Hawk, F8C-5 Helldiver, Douglas Dolphin, Ford Trimotor (some versions), Gee Bee racers, Lockheed Orion, Sirius, Vega, Sikorsky S-38 are just a few. Some were manufactured under license by other companies including BMW in Germany.

NOTE: builder only, please read carefully for the condition. Hard to fine early 1960s hardbox issue. that includes both models. The Wright Brothers Kitty Hawk was the first aircraft to make powered and controlled flight, and the Bleriot Monoplane was the first aircraft to fly over the English Channel. These are unique and accurate kits. The original internal frame structure and details of the aircraft is built from injection molded plastic. When complete, it is covered with a very strong fabric which is included. The result is a very realistic aircraft. The Bleriot has never been started and is inventoried complete. NOTE: the Kitty Hawk has the basic frame built (6 pieces) and one of the wings is bad with a warped leading edge and heavily damaged ribs. Includes covering tissue & instructions but does not include cement.
