Very rare; this is still the only 1/350 USS New Orleans ever produced and is far superior in detail to the injection molded USS San Francisco. Yankee Modelworks 1/350 were advertised as the World's Finest 1/350 Ship Kits, and that was no idle boast. All resin parts are cast from de-aired molds in a pressure chamber, ensuring that every detail is sharp and there are zero to few air bubbles. Careful design of the molds also nearly eliminated resin flash. The cast metal fine details are stunning and it can be built full hull or waterline. The large and extensive set of two brass photoetched frets are the equivalent of a modern 'Super Detail' PE set. This model can be built waterline or full hull. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
