A superb model kit from the original 1956 Pre-S molds. Revell's early ships were remarkably well molded and detailed and this Constitution is no exception. Features full hull with fine planking and copper sheathing detail (down to tiny rivets on the copper plates), full deck fittings, preformed ratlines, rigging material and full rigging instructions. Most likely the 5th issue of this kit by the light green background and 300 price extension. The box artwork is from the "S" issue and is dated 1956, but the side panels now show the early issues of the Thermopylae, early (incorrect) SSBN Abraham Lincoln and several Picture Fleet ships, dating it in about 1960 or 1961. Never started. The tan parts are still factory sealed. The black parts have been inventoried complete. With flag sheet, special silver anchor 'chain' cord, performed rat lines and cutting guide and excellent, illustrated building instructions.

The famous mutiny ship of Captain Bligh and Fletcher Christian fame. About 8" inches long when assembled. Very nicely detailed medium-size kit from Pyro's line of sailing ships. The medium models were originally called the '$1.00' ship line, which were a significant step up in size and detail from the '50 cent' series. Well molded with wood planking and grain detail, full deck with many separately molded fittings and cannon, one piece masts, separately molded ratlines and billowing sails as well as a display stand.

Very nice older kit from original Pyro molds. Measures about 8 inches long when assembled. Features a very nicely molded and detailed full hull, fine simulated deck planking, deck fittings, display stand, billowing sails, preformed rat lines, rigging thread and rigging diagram. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. The Revenge was an Elizabethan Galleon launched in 1577. Revenge had 46 guns and was 92 feet long. She was part of Sir Francis Drake's fleet of 80 ships that defeated the Armada. In 1661 the Revenge was attacked by a fleet of 16 Spanish Galleons. She sank two and disabled two of her enemy before being forced to surrender. Three days later she was sunk in a storm while returning to Spain as a war prize.

Features movable control surfaces, very good cockpit, sliding canopy, instructions for rigging and a novel action feature: when you pull the prop outward and rotate it counter clock-wise, the landing gear retracts. Rotate it clock-wise and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal.
