	1/64 #H2 Comet Republic P-47D Thunderbolt Solid Wood Model Airplane VG+ Wood old			$38
	In the 1930s and 1940s, most modelers built the flying stick and tissue type models with rubber, co2 or gas power. But there were a small but measurable percent that built solid aircraft display models of great detail. This required great skill worth of the shipbuilders of old, especially considering the limited offerings. Many manufactures issued blocks of wood and a plan - the famous (or infamous) 'Make Wood Look Like Plane' kits. A few manufactures made expensive super detailed kits with metal accessories (like Dyna-Products). Comet came in the middle and struck a nice balance of detail and cost. The F6F features profile cut parts, color decals, finished wheels, printwood, templates, wood stock and a very large and detailed sheet of drawings including detailed construction steps. 	1/48 #58 Hawk Albatros D-V (DV) Solid Wood Model Kit VG+ Wood old			$40
	For the advanced Hawk collector. Hawk was one of the few manufactures making wooden kits to a constant scale of 1/48. However, the company was innovative as it quickly included injection molded accessories. This kit dates from 1947 and contains profile precarved wooden main aircraft parts, injection molded wheels, prop, machine gun, wooden stock as needed, metal seat, one color German insignia and full size well-detailed plans. 	California Model Co Featherette Microfilm Indoor Airplane - 18 inch Wingspan Airplane for Class B Competition Exc+++ Wood old			$65
	Probably from the 1940s. Stick and tissue flying model kit to a constant 1/16 scale with very nice quality. Made by California Model Company out of Long Beach, CA USA. 	Veron models were made by Model Aircraft (Bournemouth) Ltd. In Bournemouth, Great Britain. Three of the product lines were 'Kwik-Fix' gliders, 'Super Truscale' (sold kits) and 'Tru-Flite' (stick and tissue kits).
