	Laconia kits were popular for their high level of detail in the late 1940s/early 1950s. This kit is very well detailed and builds and accurate prototype. Features heavy bristol board sides that are pre-cut, scribed and factory painted for Page's Milk in yellow, silver, black, blue and white, pre-cut and milled hardwood roof, floor and other wooden parts as needed, a sealed bag of metal details, other metal stock as needed and full plans and instructions. The decorated embossed sides and ends in mint condition as they are still sealed in the factory bag. Kit has not been started and is complete with all parts, instructions and fittings. These make great stand alone models or high-quality rolling stock for your line.

	Still factory sealed. In the late 1940s/early 1950s there was a revolution in model railroading: high quality kits became available for the first time. Before this, there were few standard gauges and most railroads were scratch built to any gauge the collector desired. This kit is the Menzies reissue of the classic Athearn kit. These kits build very realistic models because parts that are metal on the real box car are metal in the kit; same for the wooden parts. All sides, doors and roof are fully decorated, leaving very little painting. Includes wooden floor, opening doors, metal underside and detail fittings such as AB brake set, brake wheel, etc. These make great stand alone models or high-quality rolling stock for your line.

	Includes real sprung metal trucks. Roundhouse (by Model Die Casting) was a famous manufacture of HO Craftsman kits in the 1940s/1950s. This is one of their all- metal car kits. Very well detailed and crisply cast with little or no flash. Molded in details are superb. Features all metal one piece roof, three piece roof walk, car ends, floor and undercarriage, factory painted and lettered sides for Sante Fe (Tuscan Red with black and white), three piece brake set, couplers, pocket doors, bushings, screws as needed, grab irons, full instructions with drawings and more. 	Very high quality wood and metal kit from the Golden Age of HO Craftsman kit. Builds a very accurate and highly detailed prototype. Of the early metal box car kits, these are my favorites, with their popularity witnessed by the various reissues through the years. Almost all the parts that are metal on the actual box car are metal on the model. This and the factory paint, lettering and decoration makes these kits difficult to beat for scale appearance. Features stamped steel body, car ends and roof that are factory painted, lettered and decorated, steel ladders, doors, door guides and brake platform, cast metal running boards, bolsters, coupler pockets and three piece brake detail, stamped metal undercarriage beam with fine cross bearers, corner steps, grab irons and more. Includes trucks. The factory paint is excellent, and I have wrapped it so it will not be damaged in shipment. Due to the high degree of factory finishing, the only painting required for this kit is the interior floor and underside. The kit has never been started.
