| Very colorful markings in this 1977 release. The first operational jet fighter for the USA. F-80s played key rolls in the Berlin Airlift and the Korean War. The two seater (available as a Hawk kit) was used as a trainer long after the Shooting Star left service. Very well detailed model has optional parts to be built as a fighter-bomber or fighter-interceptor. Includes full cockpit, detailed gun bay with removable cover and the rear fuselage comes off (dolly included) to reveal the detailed engine.
