Very rare 1976 Japan issue of this famous model with unique box art. There is certainly enough there to make a new sheet using the instructions located on this website on how to save and reproduce old decals. The large foldout color guide is damaged on the front 1/2 as well.

Very rare. Most likely made in 1955 or maybe 1954. Please note the square 'Aurora Line' small logo and the 'Famous Fighters of All Nations' text to the left of it. The model is 100% correct inside, includes the original factory tissue packing paper, is molded in gloss yellow plastic and clear with the correct rectangular clear stand, four bombs and landing gear. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Nothing is broken; the instructions are in 'near mint' condition and the decals are 100% intact, just very slightly curled just at the ends and in 'very good+' condition. The box has excellent color and gloss but even wear on the top as shown; there is a tape tear on the left short side (1" x 3/4") and another smaller one on the right short side (3/8" x 1/4"). I believe this is the 4rd issue of this famous kit. The first was the Brooklyn, then the two 'Carrier' boxes, 88-59 and 88-69.

Rare. The PSN-2 was a glider floatplane designed to test the concept and guidance equipment for a range of guided glider bombs proposed by S.F. Valk in 1933. Constructed of wood, the PSN-2 was a sleek monoplane aircraft with two floats attached to the wing with struts, an open cockpit in the extreme nose of the fuselage and extra fins at the aft end of each float. In 1939-1940 the PSN-2 was built with a torpedo loadout. Although it could be towed, two were carried under the wings of the famous TB-3 and plans were to later use a DB-3 twin-engine bomber. Production of the first series of the PSN-2 started in Leningrad's plant No.23. The program was canceled unexpectedly in the summer of 1940. This is a very finely high-definition resin model kit with beautiful moldings, very good cockpit detail, torpedo load-out and more. Includes full decals and a painting guide based on a photo (included on the instructions) of the first prototype. The TB-3 was involved in a much more successful parasite version using fighter-bombers called the Zveno. Two (and even three) I-16 Fighters were attached to the underside of the TB-3 wings. The first combat operations took place in July of 1941. The TB-3s flew within range of petrol factories in Romania, and released the I-16s which dive-bombed the factory. On the way home, the I-16s acted as escort fighters. The most famous operation was the destruction of the Chernavodsky Bridge over the Danube in 1941.

Still factory sealed with a very short split at the top right long side. Dated 1961. This big 1/16 scale model, along with the other 'Old Timers' represented a significant leap forward in quality for Aurora. It features a rolling chassis build like actual automobile, full suspension, transaxle and driveline, complete exhaust, detailed interior and more. Usually molded in gloss ivory, gloss black and with brass plated parts and real rubber tires. Aurora was renowned for turning a profit and for keeping expenses down. In researching new kit subjects, they came upon a forgotten jewel - the Hudson Miniatures line of 1/16 scale wooden kits. Hudson had discontinued this line due to lack of sales of wooden kits. But the Hudson models were second to none in quality, research and documentation. Aurora was quick to realize this and used the research and layout from these kits to create the subjects for this 'Old Timers' series. It is fortunate for us that they did, because in most cases this is the only injection molded kit of these rare and classic early automobiles.
