Rare 1/72 scale version of the incorrect Stealth Fighter. In 1987 Testors spent a great deal of money cutting the molds for this kit, but it was quickly pulled from production as soon as photos of the real fighter revealed significant differences. Features detailed cockpit, optional position canopy, optional 'operational' or 'training' canopy designs, detailed landing gear bays, optional opened or closed internal weapons bay with very good detail and two AGM-65D Maverick missiles (in extended 'to launch' or stowed position, optional position landing gear, extended or retracted spoilers/speed brakes with detailed wells and more. A large and well detailed model from the original 1950s molds. This type 4 logo 'Porcupine' features beaching gear, rotating turrets with elevating guns, movable control surfaces, external bomb load, rotating propellers and more. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Sunderland's 21-year record with the RAF has made it a legend. Derived from the Empire Class Flying Boat Airliners, Sunderland IIIs had a top speed of 210 mph and an endurance of 12 hours. These qualities made the Sunderland a superb platform for North Sea and North Atlantic patrols, ASW and SAR. Crews usually loved the airplane; its large size afforded many airborne comforts that bomber or fighter crews could only dream of, such as bunk, a head and an area for food preparation.

Still factory 'round tape' sealed. This famous German Flying Boat was built in 1929. Dornier dreamed that this huge aircraft would become a trans-oceanic airliner with passengers traveling in ocean liner-like luxury. A tour of South and North American was conducted, but orders never materialized due to excessive fuel consumption and a lack of power. Total load was 170 passengers and crew, and the 12 engines developed 7200 HP. This is a very nicely detailed model with 121 pieces.

Very nice gift set including the large 1/426 model of the USS Hornet and a 1/72 B-25B. The Hornet is from the same molds as the original model issues in 1967. Kit is over 20 inches long and includes a one piece hull, 16 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers, moving cranes, decals and flags. The B-25 is the likely the high quality Italeri kit, but I am not positive. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: missing the 49 page booklet advertised on the box top.

2004 reissue of the famous Monogram 1970s kit with some critical changes which include Hamilton Standard propellers, early style AN/APQ-13 radome and SCR-595 IFF antennas. Very highly detailed with full interior, five crew members and detailed bomb bay with bomb load. Includes markings for "Cream of the Crop" (1951 Kadena, Okinawa) and "Humpin Honey" in July 1944. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The large decal sheet is 100% intact and flat but NOTE: one corner (about 4" x 3" inches) has moisture damage and at least a few of the transfers in that location are lifting. The big nose art transfers (Cream of the Crop and Humpin Honey) look fine because they are in another area of the sheet.
