1934 Duesenberg Rollston JN Convertible Motorized Cam-A-Matic Exc Injection Molded old | ||
| Very rare kit from the early 1960s. Big 1/12 scale kit is the largest injection-molded Duesenberg ever made. Molded in chrome plate, yellow, black, brown, black, green-gray and clear. Fully motorized with Cam-a-matic action - car moves forward with motor sound, steers different patterns, stops, flashes on headlights and tail light then reverses. Includes cams for "S" pattern, circle or straight and has one blank cam so you can make your own pattern. Well detailed kit for the day featuring full frame, chassis and suspension, opening rumble seat, well-detailed interior, instrument panel decal, working luggage rack, working headlights and tail light, hinged opening hood, working steering wheel, side spotlights, spare tire covers, many chrome parts and more. Although not mint, this is one if not the finest box top that I have seen for this kit - it is in excellent condition with bright colors and four solid corners. Inside, the kit is in factory-mint condition. All the red divider cardboard is included and as new. All parts that were factory bagged are still in sealed factory bags under the red cardboard display. The few parts that were not bagged (chrome and body) have been inventoried complete against the instructions. Includes a sealed bag with all metal and motorizing parts, decals and instructions. | |||

JIGTIME Russian MIG-15 Flying Model Exc++ Injection Molded old | ||
| Rare kit in the famous Top Flight "JIGTIME" flying model series. The Jigtime series were wooden flying models but the tissue, rib and spar method was eliminated. The kit is built off of central jigs and all the wood is pre-printed with a colorful design. Includes vac canopy, launcher skid and rubber band. Reportedly flies at over 50 miles per hour...and since it is a Carl Goldberg design, it probably flies well. Appears to be very close to 1/48 scale. The kit has not been started and is in mint condition. No parts have been punched out of the sheets and the printing is clear and crisp. Complete with all parts, Jigtime flying tips pamphlet and colorful instructions featuring Topsy and Flitey - your animated building assistants. | |||

| Rare "S" kit from 1959 in actual size featuring the registered trademark cat from Bonnie Cat Food Company. This was one of four life-sized animal offering from Revell in the late 50s - Perri the Squirrel, Friskie the Beagle Pup and Teddy the Koala Bear. Kit features very nicely molded main injection molded parts, clear blue tinted eye balls, decal black eyes, a glass bottle of Revell "S" Cement (that is still good!), a Revell paint brush and three colors of flock for a 'furry, life-like coat". Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. | |||

| Modeled from the two Tuna Clippers (sister ship is Sea Magic) of the Avondale Marine Ways Company of New Orleans. These hard-working boats and crews roamed the ocean year-around in a dangerous business. Many vanished without a trace. The Gulf Star was wreaked on a reef off Peru. Model has a hull length of 13.5 inches. Very nicely detailed kit even includes rigging material and rigging instructions. Never started. Parts are still in factory sealed bags. | The Henschel 129A was the result of an RLM request for a ground attack aircraft capable of attacking armor. This was the result of Spanish Civil War experience. Construction began in October of 1938 and the aircraft first flew on May 20, 1939. The flying characteristics were less than satisfactory. Several aircraft of the pre-production batch did see service in France in a training unit. The "A" variant was never mass produced as the more powerful and docile Hs-129B was put into production. Limited issue kit with injection molded parts, film instruments and photoetched details. Has decals for two aircraft. Never started. | Very rare kit for the advanced collector. This is a very hard to fine original O-lin kit in the very small box, early Ray Gaedke box art and advertisement for O-lin cement on the top. Produced in 1949 or just before. O-Lin (Olin) was founded by Paul Lindberg and a Mr. Olsen - hence the company name. Although a producer of flying models in the 1930s, O-lin produced some of the earliest American injection molded kits in the late 1940s. In 1950 the partnership may have ended, because all branding was changed to Lindberg and Paul Lindberg. Inside, the kit is as new. It is molded in a beautiful, glossy medium blue and has the correct decals and instructions. The decals and instructions have minor yellowing but are in excellent condition. The kit has never been started and is inventoried complete with all parts, instructions and decals. | |||

The aircraft flew well but transition from vertical/horizontal and back was tricky. This, combined with the performance of the new jets signaled the end of the program in 1955.
